I purchased the 2.2 cubic ft capacity mircowave.
It looks great in my cabinet built for a microwave.
I used a trim kit which encases the microwave in the cabinet for a finished sleek look.
It can also be used on a counter top but it is very large.
I would opt for the smaller version if using on counter top.
If you are looking for a microwave that is classy looking and really cooks food to perfection, as well as boiling water, defrosting ,heating left overs and making pop corn, this is the genuine article.
I have had it for only 3 weeks but so far I am thrilled with its performance.

got it out of the box and did not work at all. contacted panasonic and was referred to a repair shop. dropped it off and was told it would take 3 weeks to get another mother board. the part came sooner than the 3 weeks but repairman couldnt get the part off as it was glued in when it wasnt supposed to. even the repairman said to get rid of it. as far as i can tell panasonic has no quality control at the end of the manufacturing process. it i did my job like that i would have been fired. cant recommend panasonic to anyone after this.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lonny Great Product with Awesome Power.
This is one of the best microwaves I have purchased over the years. Heats food very quickly and evenly, and I love the dial feature much better than the more common digital style, even though when it gets to twenty seconds it adds 5 seconds per turn of the dial instead of one second. This is however a rather large microwave and it takes up alot of counter space. My only problem with this product is the door sticks sometimes when you push the button to open the door. I wish it had a pull open door instead.

I have not used it very much, but I enjoy this microwave very much. For what I used this for so far, it does what I need to do and very much more. It does simple and very sophisticated operations. When I set if for sensor cooking, I set it and walk away. The microwave does the rest. It never overcooks. Chicken pot pies come out toasty; not soggy at all. It has a very large capacity and looks stunning in my kitchen. I can't wait to use some of the other features that this microwave oven offers.

I was looking for a big microwave that I could fit virtually anything in. That's what I got with this microwace and it looks great. I had to read the manual to get started, but it was an easy read with simple instructions on how to use the different functions this microwave offers. I have only had this product for about 2 weeks, but I use it everyday and so far I love it. I would recommend ths product, just make sure you have plenty of counter space because it is big.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SteveNSanDiego The best microwave I'm aware of
Five stars across the board. However, some advise about the trim. It does NOT come with the microwave as I was advised on the online chat with Home Depot before placing my order. Furthermore, getting one delivered with the unit was not even an option on the Home Depot website order checkout form, meaning it was not shown as an accessory, so I guess you just have to go to the Panasonic website to even get the trim kit. Incidentally, the SS trim kit looks really nice but costs almost as much as the price for the microwave by itself! My advise is to build the trim kit yourself, taking into account the necessity of the air vents. I made my own trim kit from bare wood trim available at Home Depot, black paint, etc for $38 cost for all materials.Looks great and it avoided the anxiety of ensuring the trim kit fitted my cabinet built-in cavity cutout dimensions.

I needed a bigger microwave with the biggest trim kit I could find to replace an old microwave. I wasn't looking for Panasonic, but so far, this microwave has been a pleasant surprise. The 'reheat sensor' feature means pushing only 2 buttons to reheat any leftovers. And it has a 'keep warm' feature which is nice.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JCNJ This microwave is a winner!
The Panasonic 2.2 cu. ft. Microwave has more features than we will ever need or use. It is cavernous compared with the older unit it replaced and the power is more than we expected. Cooking and reheating foods takes far less time than we had been accustomed to and foods such as bread or leftover pizza can be heated without leaving them soggy. The controls are straightforward and easy to understand.
