Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed park smart fails to stand behind their product
initially this product looked promising. we ordered and received in timely manner. we filled out warranty card and sent in to park smart. it took awhile to put together, but we were excited to have garage floor protection. within 9 months product was leaking and had cracks. i called manufacturer about warranty and the guy that answered the call said that those warranty cards basically go in a box and he was not going to look for it. he told me to call back when i found my receipt. i found receipt and called back and "manager" said i would have to send pictures of cracks. i emailed pictures as requested and never heard back. i called back and no answer, left a message and never heard back to this day.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Brad Good idea not so well executed
The idea is a good one. Problems with installation. No one mentioned (until after it came and I read the directions) that after you start putting the frame on the mat that you have to cut the mat to fit the frame. The cut at the end of the mat was crooked. It was left up to me to figure out how to trim the mat and get a straight and perpendicular edge. There are no guide lines on the mat to help with cutting a straight line across almost 8 feet of mat.. Also thought the mat material seems pretty flimsy... but I will wait and see how it performs this winter. I think it is a little pricey for what you actually get.

Haven't parked a car on it so workability is not commented on.
As per the instructions, you have to trim a piece off the end, and the existing end wasn't plumb,
so had to use a straight edge
The edge pieces would not snap into place by stepping on them per the instructions. I was told when I called them that since my garage door was cold I would have to heat each individual area under each side piece with a hair dryer or heat gun before I snapped the side pieces on. They said they had updated their instructions, which didn't help me, and as I have a 22' long mat, this was VERY time consuming.
The package included two right hand cut pieces, that were supposed to be a right and left hand cut. So now ANOTHER phone call and I'm waiting for the part. I asked that it be sent two day air, but got some pushback and was told "he'd have to check with the boss".
Typical, written in the Orient instructions. But at least the pictures were understandable.
The mat material seems cheap to me, but time will tell when I get some prolonged use out of it.
Not recommending due to bad instructions and a wrong part in the box that I had to call to have shipped.

We found that any water that dripped from garaged vehicle onto this garage mat had to be
swept off; it would not evaporate unless garage door was left open and an outside breeze
was readily available for an extended period of time. As a result of being damp, it easily
collected dirt & sand. In addition, the mat never laid completely flat though all sides and
ends were properly installed and it laid on flat, smooth concrete. After a year of frustration,
I threw it away.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JP13 Great for keeping garage clean
The instructions are not very clear. You have to refer to the pictures. Also, it doesn't make much sense that after you order a specific size that you have to trim quite a bit off to make it fit with the trim pieces. Albeit, this is a good product. We have a finished (painted) garage floor and this mat protects it very well. This makes my second Park Smart Mat. The first lasted about 3 years. It ripped because I began turning my wheels when pulling into the garage.

I bought one of these mats in 2004 for my one car garage and loved it. We had a two garage built in 2008 and decided to buy two more. The original was still in great shape but we wanted two new ones in our new garage. The new ones weren't the same material but I didn't think much of it. We pulled them out of the garage the first summer we had them to hold a garage sale inside the garage and they warped all out of shape in the heat. They have become brittle and cracked and have warped even more out of shape since. I contacted the manufacturer the other day and was told that when oil prices went up a few years ago they changed the formula to keep the price down. The new formula mats are JUNK. The old one I have is still very flexible. Don't waste your money on these unless you plan on buying new ones every couple of years.

We wanted a clean and dry garage, but Vermont winters resulted in large amounts of dirty snow, slush and water on the floor. This mat holds keeps the snow and water from seeping out into the rest of the garage. It looks nice too. I am a bit concerned about how to take it apart and storing it in the summer, but I'll deal with that when the time comes.
