Pressure Switch 30/50 is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good switch This switch didn't even last a year when it started failing to turn on my well pump. Replaced it with a Square D switch which from previous experience is more relialble. This is a made in China knock off of the Square D switch.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't have very good luck we bought this switch for our water pump and shortly after installing the points stuck together and it stopped working and caused our pump to run continuous til it almost ruined our pump. We exchanged it for another and it did the same thing. SO we returned it and got our money back. As far as our pump we know it was not that because it was the same pump and hook up we have had for years. Just a faulty switch I guess..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pressure switch for a well Very helpful and informative on wells and pressure gauges.. Fixed our problem at a fraction of what a Plummer would charge. Excellent staff!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Needed to exchange The first of two pressure switches that I purchased did not function properly, and had I not been the one to install it, I might not have noticed that the pump on my shallow well did not shut off. I contacted the Master Plumber in the department, explained all of the processes I had gone through to check the cause of the running pump, and he suggested returning the pressure switch The second switch functioned properly, and the system has been flawless since then. I live 45 minutes away from the store, and had purchased the product as a convenience. It ended up costing me time and money. I 'may' purchase the same product if I need one in the future, but when I get a defective product, I generally look for a competitor the next time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average It doesn't have a lever to release the contacts if needed, but that's not a big deal it's just not as convenient as one with a lever. The contacts are large which is a good feature since ants (mainly) are attracted to the carbon residue left due to the spark that happens when the contacts touch. So having larger contacts means a longer life, usually. But that could also depend on how bad/often (if at all) ants and spiders get inside the box where the contacts are. However I must say that the screws to tighten the wires down can strip easily. This is because the grooves on the head of the screws are not very deep. I suggest using a flat head screwdriver that fits in the groove properly. The installation directions are adequate for the DiY'er. It has only been a few days but it seems to be working fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from needed purchase This switch runs a air compressor that operates a steam valve to make hot water. This part was an exact match for the old failed part that has been in service more than 6 years. If this one is half as reliable as the last one it will totally be worth it. Great part great price and no waiting it was on the shelf.
