Customer Reviews

Pressure switch 30/50 with Low Pressure Cutoff is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't use this unless you really run the risk of having a dry well. I found out the hard way that the only good thing about this extra option is that it will protect the pump in the event that it cavitates and the pressure drops. Otherwise, in the event that your pressure drops suddenly, you may lose water altogether when the switch trips, causing you to have to reset the switch at the well. Say your wife starts the washing machine while the water heater is filling after a hot shower, and the system pressure was only slightly above cut-on prior, causing a sudden low-pressure condition. This sudden hit will trip the cutoff and require a reset. There should definitely be a warning about this issue. The obvious purpose (in hindsight) is to protect the pump if the well goes dry, and I'm sure it does that pretty good. Otherwise, plan on having to reset this thing every day or two while your spouse complains.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from product is junk two days after the install it stopped working. We got it started again, only to fail about 2.5 months later, then after restarting it again, it now fails repeatedly just under 6 months of the purchase and install. I won't buy this brand again.
