We bought a new LG refrigerator from the Home Depot and the drawers are grinding themselves to plastic powder and LG will not do anything about it. So i am stuck with trying to grease them up with something safe !

Answer:
Yes, It is a silicone based lube which is safe on O-Rings. You do NOT want to use the Oatey plumbers grease because it is a petroleum based product which will soften the O rings & seals over time.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stuff Comes in handy when you need a small dab of grease to lube some o-rings. I took apart a part to look at the condition of the o-rings which I had lubed with this stuff over a year ago; the old stuff was still there. Wiped everything clean and threw on a fresh dab of this stuff knowing I'll be trouble free for quite some time again. It's been great against moisture. August 7, 2016
