Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great versatile machine for trim work I have four different cordless Paslode machines: the 16 gauge; the 18 gauge; the framing nailer and the stapler. I love using all of them. No compressor lines or loud compressors to lug around. Just hook it onto your tool belt and up the ladder you go. Be aware that the gas cartridges have an expiry date so be sure you have current extras. Read the date before you buy them since I've seen some due to expire a week after buying them. An extra battery (while expensive) is a must if you plan to do a lot of work and can't afford the time to sit around while the battery recharges. But a great machine. January 24, 2008
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent nailer First the cons........the smell of the gas cartridge isn't pleasant. That's it! This nailer has excellent depth control and FAR more power than my air powered nailers. No hoses to deal with. If you are doing a lot of nailing, then this tool would be an excellent investment. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeds Expectations This is a wonderful tool, I always hated draging out a hose and compressor to put on a couple of pieces of trim so that was one of my main reasons for the purchase. Since I have bought the nailer i have trimed out entire jobs without using my pnuematic nailer, I just grabed my paslode and went to work. I was amazed with how well it shoots into MDF and didn't chip out the surface which was always a problem with my old nailer. I would recomend this nailer to anyone I meet. August 7, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best price found online at Home Depot. This is the first cordless brad nailer I've owned and the quality and ease of use are hard to beat. Just remember to read the owners' manuals (there are several for each tool) and follow the manufacturers recommended schedule for cleaning and maintenance. Watch where you nail as well and avoid any nail or screw heads that you may hit which can damage the drive rod. February 20, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not a good purchase. I purchased this nailer 4 months ago and it just died on me. I used it for installing moldings in my home on an infrequent basis. It worked well for my first two projects but died on the third. It has been in the repair shop for a month waiting for parts. I have read reviews on other web sites and have found that Paslode products either really work well or don't work at all. In other words, product quality is highly variable. I just purchased a De Walt nailer to replace the Paslode nailer. October 2, 2009
