If you need a quality nailer for your work, don't hesitate to buy this one. It's light......no hose and compressor, and surprisingly it has more power than necessary. I haven't had to punch a nail in yet. In fact, I've blown a couple right through the piece! It IS expensive, but you get a superior product.

Great tool. Beats dragging a hose around. I used 2 1/2 nails and it did not leave any with the heads out.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DrOfGolf This Paslode Nailer ROCKS!!!
I purchased this Paslode model after extensive research into tons and tons of cordless nailers. After reading all of the good, the bad, and the ugly about virtually every cordless nailer out there, I felt this was the one I was looking for, both in what I needed to use it for and for the excellent price. I was definitely not disappointed in this purchase.
I used this to nail the quarter round in rooms where we've put down a Pergo floating floor. With the Paslode finish nailer I was able to put in the quarter round in record breaking time compared to doing it the old fashioned way of hammer and finish nail. I've also started using this for other woodworking projects around the home and I look forward to buying other Paslode nailers in the near future as my wife fills the "honey-do" jar.
This is definitely one of the BEST "power tool" purchases I've ever made and I heartily recommend this tool to anyone looking for a good cordless nailer... both in quality and for the price.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy123 I own both the angle and this straight finish nailer. They are both great. This one is cheaper and it still gets the job done without air so how can you complain.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JHershberger Well made and affordable.
After some deliberation, I decided to purchase this nailer to bridge the gap between the large jobs where I run a compressor and four air guns and the single windows and doors and miscellaneous finish work when the noise and inconvenience of a compressor aren't necessary. This tool is a big improvement over the inaccuracy of hand nailing on the small jobs.

Lightweight, easy to handle, works well, would recommend for do-it-yourself projects.

Purchased this on sale. Waite until out-of-warranty to use because of other projects. Lubed it properly, charged the battery and purchased a new fuel cell. Properly loaded it but it refused to fire a single nail. Took it back to HD and a seasoned employee and I examined it. Same thing - it would not fire. There was fuel in the chamber and the fan was running, but it would not ignite.
Called Paslode Customer Service and we tried a couple of meaningless adjustments. Still would not fire.
The HD seasoned employee said that he hasn't sold a one of these that hasn't been returned. As another customer said, I, too, have an expensive paperweight in that it would be cost prohibitive to repair.
