Great tool. Beats dragging a hose around. I used 2 1/2 nails and it did not leave any with the heads out.

Purchased this on sale. Waite until out-of-warranty to use because of other projects. Lubed it properly, charged the battery and purchased a new fuel cell. Properly loaded it but it refused to fire a single nail. Took it back to HD and a seasoned employee and I examined it. Same thing - it would not fire. There was fuel in the chamber and the fan was running, but it would not ignite.
Called Paslode Customer Service and we tried a couple of meaningless adjustments. Still would not fire.
The HD seasoned employee said that he hasn't sold a one of these that hasn't been returned. As another customer said, I, too, have an expensive paperweight in that it would be cost prohibitive to repair.

I ordered the Paslode cordless straight finish nailer online from Home Depot since they did not carry this model in their stores. Paslode makes an excellent cordless nailer with a rechargeable battery included so this model offers the huge additional benefit of not requiring an air compressor.
The only negative is that since Home Depot stores do not carry this particular model, they also do not carry accessories for this model. I had to find an alternative source to purchase the straight nails and fuel cells.
Paslode continues to be a leader in the market and this cordless straight finish nailer is easy to use and reliable. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend the product.

This finish nail gun is great. Unlike air powered guns you don't have to carry around a compressor and hose. So, it makes it easy for smaller jobs. I already have one of these and it has served me well for a number of years. The concern i have with this new one is that it appears to be made with more plastic parts than my old one so i have a concern about how it will hold up over time.

I purchased one of these a year ago, and what a mistake. I use it for weekend projects and maintain it and clean per the manual. Last time I pulled it out it would not fire, and I had to take it to a repair shop where it cost $130 to repair. Asked the guy at the repair shop if problems were common with these Paslode cordless nailers and he said that they do A LOT OF REPAIRS ON THESE. Used it again over a weekend and now it will not fire again. When it works it works great, but when it doesn't, it's a $300 paperweight. This has been the worst purchase I ever made.

I have used this nailer in my business for the last 12 years. It worked fine right up until the day it died. I do not recall ever taking it into the shop for repairs. I have never felt the need for the angle nailer, I can get into corners just fine with the straight.

If you need a quality nailer for your work, don't hesitate to buy this one. It's light......no hose and compressor, and surprisingly it has more power than necessary. I haven't had to punch a nail in yet. In fact, I've blown a couple right through the piece! It IS expensive, but you get a superior product.
