Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent switch bought other occupancy switches they don't work as well as this one does. I have at least 4 more around the house November 8, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! Just as advertised. The product was easy to install, does what I need it to do. February 8, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Turns on automatically; Can't prevent it from doing so thus not suitable for some locations This occupancy is not good for a room where the switch is visible from a hallway and you leave the door open. Every time you walk by, it turns on and stays on for about 30 minutes or until you turn it off. If you turn it off manually, it will stay off for 5 minutes even if walk by it. There is a light on the switch that is on when the switch is off which makes it easy to locate. I would only recommend it for a room where you normally keep the door closed, or the switch is located somewhere beyond the range of motion, and you want the light to come on when you enter. I like the RS-250 much better. You can set it to come on automatically or manually. And you can adjust how long you want it to stay on (30 minutes max., 15 sec min.). And a light level sensor where it will not turn on automatically if the light level in the room is bright enough not to require the light to turn on. (Note: settings can only be changed when the plate is removed from the wall.) This one is perfect if you have closets where the switch is in the room, rather than in the closet, and your kids are constantly forgetting to turn the light off. You set it to be switched on manually and it will go off automatically per the setting. The RS-250 is more expensive, but if the RWU600U isn't a good fit for you, the RS-250 probably is.
