Customer Questions & Answers

The box states that this has 5 different light settings and an off switch. How do you change the settings? I see no switch to do this?

Thank you for your question regarding Pass & Seymour Decorator Full Enhanced Hallway Light with Light Sensor(Model # TMHWLECC6). The TradeMaster Decorator Night Lights(TMHWLECC) does not have the option for changing the light levels. Legrand - Pass & Seymour has a new line of nightlights that have that option: http://www.legrand.us/passandseymour/nightlights/full/ntlfulltccc6.aspx#.VSvSwfnF-V0

Customer Reviews

Decorator Full Enhanced Hallway Light with Light Sensor 120-Volt AC Clear is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great light for a great price I bought this to illuminate the stairs to my basement. Was planning on mounting 2 on the under side of the steps at the top and bottom. I ended up putting one in the ceiling at the bottom of the stairs and it lights up the stairs enough to maneuver without having to turn on other lights. As other reviews state, the sensor appears to need a lot of light to shut the unit off. Not a huge concern with the little amount of power is uses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Automatic night light! I installed several of these night lights in my home: 2 in my kitchen (for those late night snack events). I put the kitchen lights on a controlled circuit in case I want to shut them off for a low light effect with my other lighting as these lights come on automatically and are pretty bright. Also I installed 1 at the foot and another at the top of my stairway in such a place as to illuminate my hallway's too and installed 1 in each bathroom. I also used a few of the half light-half outlet combos. These work well in an existing single (duplex) outlet box. My oldest son has installed a few in his home also, he has a few small children. I also recommend these lights to my friends when they do their remodeling. I like em!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from light sensor is not very responsive light sensor is not very responsive - i have this installed to be a night light but when i turn on the lights it stays on - i'm not too concern since its led (low power consumption) i should also mention the light is cool in color (almost blue-ish tint) overall good product @ 10 bucks it works

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Won't turn off It installed easily and provides enough light. However, it requires too much ambient light to turn the thing off. Even when I turn on the lights in the bathroom the night light stays on. It only turns off in the daytime when the light from the window combines with the overhead light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of Light I experimented with several night lights and this one is the best and brightest. You have to sacrifice an outlet, but it's worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect night light I put one of these in a small guest bathroom and it provides plenty of light. The sensor requires too much light to turn it off, so it stays on almost 24/7. I'm not too concerned since I read that it only uses 0.147 watts. Great product and well worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Night Light I bought two of these items and put one in the hallway to have some soft lights, so when I wake in the middle of the night to drink some water. I like it. I recommend it.
