Came missing five of the larger blocks. Went to my local store in New Hartford, Ct to purchase the missing blocks and found the same exact fire pit on sale for $190.00. I had just spent $450 on this fire pit on line.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CJP14 Great product, but check in store price vs. online first!
I saw this fire pit kit in the store and loved how easy it was to put together. It came with the metal holder and top and I thought it was a great value. I decided to order it online and pay the extra $50 for shipping instead of using my pick up truck (it comes on a pallet and is very heavy). When I got the kit, it was missing a piece which took Home Depot weeks to get to me. Also, when I went back to the store I found out that the kit was $200 (YES $200) in the store. It took me multiple phone calls to convince the online dept. of Home Depot to refund me the difference. So, be a smart consumer and check to make sure the price is the same online as in the store, I was surprised that there would be that big a discrepancy.

I was easy to assemble but the liner is very thin and hope it won't rust.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NurseKelli Great fire pit!
We ordered the grey stone fire pit with 3 levels but ended up receiving 12 extra trapezoid and 12 extra mini stones! ( and yes we installed it correctly the 3 level is 12 stones per level with a total of 36 of trapezoid and mini stones, we received 48 stones each of trapezoid and minis)
I ADVISE EVERYONE TO BUY ALL THESE SUPPLIES SEPARATELY! 36 trapezoid stones = 89.28 36 mini stones = 20.88 and a fire pit insert = 69.97 total without shipping would be $180.30. So go to the store and buy everything separate to save you some money!!!!! Wish we would have done that.
Otherwise, we love the look of the fire pit!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by wahbal Not a bad fire pit
I really like this pit but with a couple reservations. It looks great and is sturdy after applying construction adhesive to secure it. I love the aged look of the stones and the variance of colors as well. What I am not big on is the stones are not 100% the same size. This makes it hard to ensure a solid fit all the way around. Secondly I think the metal bottom is kind of cheap. It is lightweight and dings easily. I have only had a couple weeks so we'll see how it holds up. I plan on bringing it in during the winter though and have found some fire pit covers which will hopefully protect it from the elements.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by John Very appealing look, but bowl wouldn't work for us.
My wife was very interested in this fire pit, but she wanted to be able to burn tree limbs and other things. We purchased a ring that was larger than the bowl advertised and modified their design to accommodate our larger ring. The blocks went together quite easily and we are very pleased with shade of stone used. Our total investment was just slightly more than the advertised price with the 16"x16" patio stones. Still worth it all!
