Answer:
Yes, the Sierra is a regional color. The RumbleStone Kits can be ordered through HomeDepot.com in the Sierra color but they will be at a higher cost due to the freight charges involved.

Hello leec,
You can use a chisel and hammer to cut and shape stone. To begin score the stone with multiple light chisel taps. Once this is complete a firm strike should split the stone along the score line. I favor wider chisels as I rarely need anything other than cuts in straight lines. You can find a variety of chisels at the link below. I hope this helps.

Why is the build height for the large (10.5x7) wall rumble stones only 2 ft but the build height for the medium (7x7) blocks is 4 ft?

If I want to build a retaining wall that is about 3 1/2 to 4 ft tall and approximately 60 ft long, can I use the variety of size blocks to build it that high? I like the looks of the example in the store that actually uses 7 different sizes (some of them being rectangle pavers). Will this be stable enough to keep dirt back at the height I need?
Thanks!

Answer:
The Rumblestone line of products is not designed to retain soil. To properly retain soil, a wall block with a rear lip is required.

RumbleStone 10.5 in. x 7 in. Cafe Large Wall Block is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pavestone Stones Worked well, no issue with the stones. Cut without chipping with chop saw and masonary blade. Would purchase again. I ordered online and picked up at Home Depot. Evidently someone had returned a good number of the stones Home Depot pulled for my order and there was glue residue on them. It was too much trouble to load them up and go complain but would certainly hand pick the stones myself for future purchases.

I was happy with the stones, they arrived early the day scheduled and that's paramount, in my book, so to speak! No complaints. Thanks for delivering on your promise! I just need to get them painted if Winter will wait long enough to permit it. Keeter

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I used the Pavestone and 4x4s to create 4 benches and a fire pit in my patio. The instructions provided were easy to follow and the outcome was exactly like I expected. I paid extra for home delivery and Home Depot did a great job delivering 3 pallets of stones inside my garage. Just be aware, the stones are heavy and I used a wheel-barrel to carry the stones to the back of the house. Overall, I am thrilled with the results. I saved about $3000 doing the project myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like these a lot I used these to build a nice fire pit in my backyard last year. This year I used these to accent a pond I'm installing. Just finished today, I think it looks great but I realize I need to go back (yet again) to exchange a tube of mortar that wouldn't fit my caulk gun and gather enough brick for 1 more layer. Word to the wise when you install these, follow the recommendations for installation. The reason my fire pit has stayed solid and unmoved is because I put in the extra time work and money to dig a small foundation, tamp it several times using gravel and landscaping sand. They still look great after a full year even during the worst winter michigan has seen in years. I expect the same from these. Here is a shot of what I did and I may update it when I add the extra layer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The size, shape, color and texture are perfect for edging my strawberry patch. These blocks are the right size to provide a slightly raised bed for my strawberries and to set apart my pear trees with a bench underneath for relaxing and enjoying nature. The color is a good contrast to the grass and provides a finishing touch for this area of the yard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good pavers BUT read carefully!! My only complaint is that the website advertised these as 14" long stones when I ordered them online. So I measured expecting that length, as it turned out they are only 10.5" long. So I was short what I needed. It appears they have remedied this problem in the description and they now advertise 10.5". But the quality of the stone is good and the price is reasonable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These do come 14 x 7 I bought some pavers to make steps from my home to my patio, it is a 10-12 inch drop. The width was half the length on the ones I bought which was necessary for the pattern I used. This photo looks like the right ones, or at least the same manufacturer, and they worked great for the purpose. A previous review stated these pavers do not come 14 x 7 but their product brodure lists "Jumbo" at that size. Unfortunately, posting rules do not allow me to provide the link.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 10.5 x 7 I am a fan of Pavestone products, having used a fair amount of them in my backyard. This paver, however, is 10.5 x 7 inches. At the time of this review the website has it listed as 14 x 7 inches, a size that as far as I know Pavestone does not produce. Other than that it is a good product.
