The diverter on this product has a design defect. I have ordered two of these and the diverter failed from the outset on both. Piece of junk.

I bought both the 205 and the 195 claw foot faucet to see what the differencences were. The Home Depot web site was unclear in its comparisons.
I found out they are idenical except for one aspect: The 205 has a 1/2 riser connection and the 195 has a 3/8 riser connection.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by jrforests01 Good looks, poor engineering.
The faucet style is smooth chrome which looks great and it has a good hefty brass interior. The shower diverter however, is made of plastic and is visibly not engineered to seal well at all. The faucet delivers excellent water pressure, but when the diverter is applied a full half of the water supply flows out the faucet rather than through the shower head.
The installation is easy enough, but the 3/4 inch faucet inlets require reducer couplings to work with any existing 1/2 inch water lines. I had some trouble installing mine, but only because of a very tight working area.
Pegasus has a similar model without the diverter and I would recommend it to anyone with a claw foot tub, but the diverter model is useless for a shower. The manufacturer should address this issue because it would be an easy design fix and yield an excellent product.

Was disappointed when I opened the box and there was nothing but the faucet and no cap for the opening at the top, no washers or anything but the faucet. Thought it would come as pictured. Now I have to run all over looking for something that fits, If I can'r find it, then back it will go!

This Faucet was exactly what I was looking for to replace the original faucet on my antique claw foot tub. The fit was wonderful and connected without flaw to the original pipe fittings. I had searched online for other faucets and kept finding faucets priced at $95 and up. Upon closer research for those other faucets I found that this was the same manufacturer and model that was priced up to $145 depending on the website I went to.
Thank You Home Depot for providing the same product at a reasonable price. Who says you have to pay Big Bucks for an "Antique Style" faucet.

Looks great but functionality is poor.has no pressure up to shower head because the diverter valve does not close all the way when pulled up.

I replaced my existing shower faucet like in kind with this one. I have read other reviews on this product that it only last for several years then the diverter and valves begin to malfunction. That is precisely why I replaced my existing one. The diverter leaked like a fire hose and the valves were beginning to leak. The existing one lasted about 8 years and I replaced it with this one. It was easy to install, works perfectly and very affordable. I have the old claw foot tub so my choices are limited and this one fit the bill. I fully assume that I will be replacing it in 8-10 years but for now it works great. I used my existing shower standpipe and had to do some soldering to the copper pipe connections in the rear. Overall it does what it was designed to do, was affordable, and was easy to install.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MHanna Basic but works good
We tried a few others that looked better but they all leaked and my husband was ready to give up when we found this one.
It's a very basic faucet but seems to work good - we've had it installed for over a month.
I'd recommend it to anyone who want to get their tub running and then hunt down one that is fancier later.
Can't beat the price and HD has always been very good to deal with - just remember to set up an account so you can track your package.
