Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ahernandez07 great product for what you pay
Just what we needed to convert our old claw foot bath tub into a shower. Although I had to go to our local home depot for an adapter because the faucet size was bigger than the hose. Also my husband likes to have a wider range of spray so we used a different shower head, which also needed an adapter because the pipe is smaller. The adapters were less than 10$. This was the cheapest conversion kit we could find, it was easy to install, and no problems yet. Free shipping only took a week to get delivered from the day I ordered.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Edward Need improvement
The product is relatively easy to install, but not a robust design. One more fixture on the wall/ceiling will make it a more stable 3 points mount. The key problem of this problem, however, is the size of the connector! It should be 1/2" pipe like all other standard bathroom pipes! Instead, it has a FL 3/8" pipe. Having fun finding the converter in HomeDeport.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by supermls Really 3/4'' faucet threads
I purchased this item, because I thought it was a good deal for both the faucet and the curtain ring. Everything is made of metal except for the shower head. The install went well for not having directions included in the box. However the only complaint that I have for this kit is the fact that the threads to the faucet are 3/4'' Pipe threads which is impossible to find at your local hardware store. So to correct this problem I had to do some piping on my own by adding a reducer from 3/4'' to 1/2''.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by jeanette missing parts!!!
the product arrived without the shower head. I called the 800 number the next day after installing it and they said they would send the parts. it has been over 10 days and I do not have the part. it was a long and inconvenient process to call in and the person who took my call did not seem to know what to do.
at my own expense I had to find a shower head and an adaptor and install it.
overall product okay, service was terrible and Home Depot online, no follow through when the product arrives missing something. I would not recommend Home Depot on-line and want a partial refund, Jeanette Syprzak

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by ClawTubCarl I needed something cheap and this was it...
The Riser from my claw tub faucet had broken off. The shower ring followed moments thereafter. I needed something in a hurry and that was cheap. This was it. The shower "ring" was flat in more then one spot. The screw holes didn't line up well - if at all. Most of the screws are only part way in. With a friends help I was able to cobble together everything using the old faucet with parts from the new one. With proper cutting we were able to attach the support poles. It should do the job as needed but not because of the unit's quality. If you need a basic piece and have time and the skills to alter it as needed this might do the job for you. If not- you might want to consider a higher quality unit.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dainger Pretty good but faucet is poorly made
I have gone through two faucets already and both times the problem has been the diverter. It must be of poor quality and not able to handle the water pressure because it allows water through the faucet when I want it all to go to the shower head. The only way to fix it is to replace the entire faucet. It's an annoying problem and i may have to buy a different brand of faucet to fix the problem.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HandyBill Not much for the money
This item shipped with a poorly cast handle on one of the taps. The other tap leaks unless you really crank it tight. The connectors are poorly machined and hard to align properly. I had to drill new holes in one of the bars to complete the installation. Once the unit was hung, it tended to rock from side to side as the curtain was moved.
The shower head shipped with the item is junk. There are no instructions, so work it out yourself. It is just not worth the money.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bathroomRemodel Do not buy if you expect enclosure/riser to be a true shiny "polished chrome"
I bought this product only for the riser and shower enclosure to go with another claw foot tub faucet. I had initially purchased one too small for our bath remodel, and this one was the perfect size. Upon opening it, my contractor noticed the enclosure was not a true shiny "polished chrome". Instead it looked like someone had brushed over it with sand paper. It didn't even match the shiny polished chrome faucet that came with it. So, I called Home Depot, who then contacted the vendor, who assured me it must have been faulty because the enclosure should match the faucet and be a SHINY POLISHED CHROME, and that they were going to send me out another one. Upon arrival, I opened the new one to check before the contractor wasted another trip back here. Lo and behold, the enclosure is exactly the same with the appearance of a slightly shined brushed nickel (even though the vendor claims they don't offer the product in brushed nickel). I know these risers can be a true polished chrome, because the first one I purchased (that was too small) from another vendor was polished and shiny and matched all of our bath hardware. This product is cheap and doesn't live up to the description. Don't buy if you expect it to match any chrome with a shine to it. Now I have two of these to return, and I'm purchasing a new one by a completely different brand outside of what Home Depot offers.
