There needs to be more choices of lengths. I had to alter it to fit. Like others, I found the shower head not satisfactory but was able to make it acceptable. It is working very good now, just needed some modifications.
I have a 5 ' tub so I had to shorten the length. I cut out a section from the middle of each side then used a 2 " length of electrical conduit to join it back. Put it in 1 " then drill and tap for # 10=24 screw and install screw then join the other length and repeat. Drill on the bottom of rod so screw head doesn't interfere with curtain hooks,
For the shower head I drilled 8 of the 12 spray holes to 1/16 " and used caulk to plug all of the outer spray slots.
I could not find any parts such as wall and ceiling supports, these should be available.

It works, the shower curtain rods were not the same shape on each side and had to bend them to even them out the best I could. Tells me they don't inspect their work very well before shipping. No instructions had to keep looking at the picture on the package. A couple more brackets would definitely make this a 4 star product..

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dave You need extra bracket to make this shower stable
I installed this unit that came without any instructions. It wobbled and would probably come loose from the wall if I didn't search and find a extra wall support for the rear ceiling post . Now it is sturdy and firm. Why they don't include this extra bracket baffles me.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Barney1 Low cost, works ok. Would buy something else next time.
Very thin tubing, cheap hardware, standard size shower heads do not fit and faucet makes it difficult to regulate temperature.
It was easy to install. Just need a tubing cutter, a few wrenches, screw driver and drill with driver. No leaks and the finish is holding up well. Very low quality plastic shower head is included and as mentioned earlier is not easily changed as it is smaller than standard.
A high quality version will cost you closer to $800 and is not carried by the Depot. I will likely upgrade to a higher quality project in the next couple years.
Functionally, it takes the water from the pipes, routes it through a taller pipe, squeezes it through some little holes and throws onto my filthy body. I guess that's all it should really do. Time to go rinse. Enjoy!

This is probably a good product for some people. But the package is really hard to open so forget returning it in the original packaging. IT HAS NO INSTRUCTIONS. Granted it's not THE hardest thing to figure out but they would've been nice. All of this would have been fine until we got everything installed and just had to put the shower curtain ring up when..... Our ceiling was too high! This is a product for claw foot tubs... Usually found in old homes... Which also have high ceilings.
Had we not had this problem I would have overlooked all the other pains for the value considering all other similar products go for the vintage look and are therefore way overpriced.
In conclusion, I know it sucks not to have a shower on a tub. Just bite the bullet and have a plumber come in and install a shower arm in the wall.

This product is not too bad at first. As many others have said there are no instructions with it, but it can be figured out in time. There is ONE BIG PROBLEM though. The valve that diverts the water to the shower head is JUNK, After only about 20 showers it is giving me problems. Something inside is jamming up, but if I work it up and down it frees up and works again for a few showers. This is not what I call a good product. I am going to keep the top part and see if I can find a better quality Faucet with a 3/8" fitting on top for the shower pipe.

Worked great up until today 8/22/2011. Now diverter will not divert water to showerhead. Not worth what I paid for at all.Now I have to go without a bathtub/shower until I can return this hunk of junk and get a new one. I may return for credit and buy elsewhere.=(

The product arrived in a timely manner. We had a plumber install it. The height was too high so he had to cut it and rethread it. All worked well after that. He wished for two more wall braces but had to settle for just the two sent. The shower head produced great flow. Very happy with. I do not do pictures: (I'm too old for that stuff!!)
