During a bathroom remodel, we wanted to install two medicine cabinets to save space. We never knew how much quality medicine cabinets cost until we started the remodel. We were ready to spend upwards of $500 each, based on what we were finding. We wanted a large cabinet, that had a wood framed mirror look, and they are fairly pricey at most places. Then we came across this one at the Home Depot website. Considering how inexpensive it was, we bought them but expected the quality to not be very great. So when they arrived, we were very surprised and pleased with the build quality and feel.
They are very large, and the soft closing hinges are really nice. I did the installation myself, which isn't so hard assuming there is no plumbing in the wall. But, considering these are typically installed over a vanity, you should plan for water pipes and a vent to be in the wall. One of ours installed easily, but the other required re-routing the plumbing to allow the space for the medicine cabinet.
After being installed, we are extremely happy with this purchase. They are large enough to hold just about everything needed for a morning routine. So large in fact, the vanity drawers and cabinet are empty now, which gives us a place to put towels and linens.
One small gripe is the doors are not exactly centered vertically with the cabinet. We wanted the doors to open opposite of each other, so installed one with the hinges on the right and one with the hinges on the left. When installed this way, one door is about 1/4" - 1/2" higher than the other, even though the cabinets are installed at the same height. Even with the hinge adjustments (one all the up, and the other all the way down) they are still not perfectly level with each other. So if you plan to install them like this, make adjustments in your rough opening to account for the difference.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleased Great extra storage, love the interior mirrors
Bought two for bathroom remodel because of the large size of the front mirror. Love the interior mirrors as well as the easy close feature. Bought two more to use in the other bathroom. Expensive, but worth the price.

Nice quality, very roomy. Like the mirrored inside. It sticks out quite far and is quite large so if that's not your thing, you might not like this.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Matt Very nice recessed mirror
This was a really great upgrade to the bathroom. I did not install it myself, so I cannot comment on that, but it is completely mirrored on the inside, which is nice, and it is really big. Another nice feature is that it does not allow itself to slam - you can close it as hard as you want and at the very end, it slows down. I actually really enjoy that. Anyways, highly recommend. Aesthetically, it is very pleasant also.

This cabinet is very large and heavy. Frame looks a little plasticity but overall nice looking. Tons of storage as it is very big!!

The medicine cabinet is beautiful and very spacious. It is especially nice that it has mirrors on the back and inside door as well. The only reason I only gave it a "good" for ease of installation is that I had the builders who were working on my bathroom install it, so I really don't know how easy it would be for an amateur.
