Is there a hole for overflow drainage? Unable to see it in photo

Not all sink tops come with a hole for overflow drainage so I have learned to ask before buying. Can someone assure me there is a hole in this sink to drain water if you accidentally overflow the bowl.

Why does water darken the granite top of my vanity even thought the granite is said to have come with a sealer already applied?

Immediately upon installation we noticed that water temporarily darkens the granite. The darkening does go away when it dries. Yet the granite was to have come with a sealer applied from the factory and we are suprised at the darkening. We are concerned that if water is going through the sealer then bathroom chemicals will be also (soaps, toothpastes, etc.) This is what we purchased: Pegasus 37 in. Granite will temporarily darken with water whether or not it is sealed. I used a sealer then applied butchers wax. The wax beads the water rather than soaking into the granite. Not only does it help with penetrating water, but it also gives it a great shine. The only draw back is you must re-apply the wax if you use any chemicals to clean the top. It's worked for me .......

Sink dimensions

I installed a 19 x 37 Pegaus granite top in 2010. Nice top but the sink is small - approximately 13 x 10.5 (measured from the inside of the basin). HD lists the basin dimensions as 15.25 x 12.75. Question - what are the dimensions of the basin in the 19 x 37 top? Has Pegasus increased the size of the basin since 2010 (if so, I would consider replacing the old top). Thanks

Pegasus support - please read my question carefully! As per my question, the dimensions on the home depot web site list the basin as 15.25 x 12.75. I measured the basin as approximately 13 x 10.5. The Halstead International diagram (also on the HD web site) shows 12.59 x 9.84. For the 19 x 37 vanity (NOT the 22 x 37), what are the CORRECT basin dimensions? Has Pegasus increased the basin size in the 19 x 37 vanity since the top I purchased in 2010?

It is misrepresented. 2 A used sink was sent. There was gunk around the faucet holes where someone else had tried to install it. 3 The back sash was broken. Pegasis is at fault not Home Depot. They took the return back and helped us order a different brand. The Milford, OH Home Depot store was very helpful and easy to work with. They were very apologetic for the problems encountered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Transformed my Bathrooms Love the new look in my master bathroom. Since the measurement is narrow in depth, the sink is smaller than average. I accept that since I previously had my guest bathroom sink top put in also. That cabinet is larger in size and had a normal size sink. I realize that in order to have adequate counter top space, the sink had to be smaller. I find it a breeze to clean and it is not used for other than washing and brushing teeth, so I feel it takes nothing away from the appearance of it. I chose the same granite top as the one I purchased from Home Depot previously for my guest bath.. They both changed my bathrooms to look beautiful. It was an inspiration to match up accessories to bring out the new look. I don't know why I did not do this sooner, having had old sinks that were installed in this condo built back in the 70's. Sorry....I am 88yrs old and unable to show a picture of the great results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking - small sink bowl This is a great looking sink vanity! The color is lighter than in the pictures, but that was fine since it still had an upscale look. We were surprised at the small size of the sink basin at first but now like it because there is more room on the vanity top. Easy to install - took me about an hour to remove my old sink and install the new one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Check before you bring it home If you order online, I advise picking it up in the store and opening the box to take a look. We had to order twice because the first one had so many weird white colorless streaks in the stone that it looked discolored (I know it's just the natural stone, but it didn't look right). The second one was mostly better so we kept that one. It was really easy to install and you can't beat the price (I looked). Overall we really like it. I wish this color was available with the rectangle sink. This oval sink is nice though. If you do have to return it, Home Depot's customer service is excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful granite top Other than the color shown on the web site which shows a much darker color, it's still beautiful. My husband actually likes the lighter color better since it's going in a small bath area. we are very pleased with our purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and priced well I had a hard time finding the right size counter top for my bathroom in granite or quartz. At at 37x19 most store require a special order. Although I only had two color choices this one was neutral enough to fit an almost any space.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Deal These vanity tops are a great deal if you have the in stock size. I have a 19 inch deep X 37 inch wide counter. I had to special order it and it was more expensive, but still not bad for granite. Becareful of cracks around the predrilled holes. Check the color of the top before buying since the color will varry from each one.
