Answer:
Any back and/or side splash is delivered separate from the top. I use clear silicone sealer to "glue" the back and side splashes to the vanity top and walls. Stay away from GE's silicone sealer as it stains the Granite.

It is seperate and you use silicone to glue it place. Silicone both the lower edge of the back splash and the back of the back splash where it meets the wall.

I have read some reviews about water staining the granite top and I am wondering why this happens. Is it because it needs an additional sealant of some sort? Thanks for the help!

Answer:
Yes you would need to seal it after it is installed. But the process is very easy. Just spray the sealant and rub it in. Instructions are on he bottle. I'm sure the Home Depot sells it at the store, and instructions are printed on it!

I do not believe so but you can buy a sealer at Home Depot and it works fine. I did it on another sink I bought from their and had it over 2 years and that was all it took. It still looked great when I sold the house

Answer:
Yes, you'll need to apply a good quality granite sealer IMMEDIATELY after installation. Follow the sealer MFR's instructions. 2 coats are usually required. The new top IS NOT sealed from the factory.
Granite sealers are available from your local Home Depot.

Answer:
The top has been sealed at the manufacturer but it is recommended for customers to reseal every year. While water sitting on the top for a short amount of time does not damage the top, it is always a good practice to wipe off any excess water when using the sink.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great price and value! We purchased this vanity top and sink when we were remodeling our master bathroom. We did not want to spend a lot of money so this purchase was perfect for our budget and the quality of the product was excellent. We are so happy with how it looks and how easy it was to install! We had it delivered to the store for free and picked it up once it arrived. We highly recommend this for your do-it-yourselfer and if you have a smaller budget but want something nice! May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect update for otherwise retro bath This product was available in store but only with 8" faucet centers and I had found a perfect faucet with porcelain handles I wanted that had only 4" centers...found that for only a few dollars more I could get from HD online and have it delivered FREE to the store...where I could be sure it was satisfactory...It exceeded my expectations because it came earlier, had wonderful help from a store associate who helped me examine and then load in my car. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent value granite vanity top Looks custom at an affordable price. Updated rental vanity top, faucet, towel bars and LED light all in Tuscan bronze from Home Depot. The granite is a gorgeous color combination and I like that the sink came installed. It's practical with an overflow hole, and if sink is damaged another can be installed. The backsplash included really set it off. Easy installation. Arrived in perfect condition to store. Very pleased with new stylish bathroom January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by High Quality Product Item was perfect and very easy to install. Worth the $$. June 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent granite top at a good price My contractor did the installation. It was easy to install. The granite top looks very much like the website illustration, and it is very attractive. One issue we had to overcome: the white built-in sink is VERY deep. The contractor needed to elevate the top using wooden shims so that the bottom of the sink would clear the plumbing pipes, and he had to fabricate an extension for the drain linkage of the Kohler faucet I bought, due to the unusually deep sink. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Granite counter/sink installation went fine after a little planning. Love the new counter/sink! March 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Vanity Top Granite vanity was heavy but well packed for shipment and arrived safe and sound. Bowl is detachable but I found it wasn't necessary to remove it for installation. Splash guard was separate in the box and easily installed using "liquid nails" cement. January 7, 2015
