Confused: Are inside shelves adjustable or not?

One close-up photo here appears to show rows of drill holes throughout the inside of the cabinet indicating the shelves can be moved. However the 3D version appears to have no holes? So which is it? I'd be looking to maximize the spacing of the three shelves per cabinet 'space' by using provided drill holes. Manufacturer reply really appreciated. :) Thanks,

The shelves do not come from the factory as adjustable. You could drill new holes though, but there are only 3 sets of holes behind each mirror. I just left a couple shelves out for larger items.

With clips that are supplied. The one down side I felt is that they are not adjustable. They go in fixed holes so some of my taller products won't fit. I made do and am quite happy with the product on the whole.

Is it possible to mount the cabinet partially recessed?

My current cabinet protrudes only about 2 inches. Is it possible to mount this cabinet half recessed and have it look OK? I'd have to attach the mirror sides somehow, and then build some wood trim around the edges to hide the opening?

Does the cabinet come with some kind of trim?

Answer:
You could mount it half recessed i suppose. It attaches to the studs with a small track, and 3 wood screws on the top and the bottom. The side mirrors attach with double sided tap to the mounting brackets (2 per side), which attach to the side of the mirror with 2 small sheet metal screws. You could slide the side mirrors into the wall and trim it out if you wanted to.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mirror cabinet So happy with this purchase. Beautiful all around. August 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice addition I like the cabinet, it replaced an old one that was here when I moved in. It took the contractor all day to install it. My only quibble is that the shelves are not adjustable but the inside mirrors are a nice upgrade so I am happy that I did it. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by it is beautiful---we just wall-mounted it (not recessed--& looks great & so useful to hold personal stuff. as mentioned--it is a very attractive mirror--and holds a lot of personal products. Removed 1 glass shelf so it holds taller items too--such as hair spray cans, August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Medicine cabinet, just wish a little more flexibility in shelf location This is a really nice quality medicine cabinet. I can't believe how much storage you get from it. The doors are soft close and it is very sturdy. The only complaint I have is I would of liked a little more flexibility in the shelf locations. The second picture shows how it looks when I turn on the Armacost RGB LED lighting. Love that lighting! January 31, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Great & Functional Replaced a tri-view outside mount medicine cabinet which had multiple and adjustable shelves. Wanted a unit that could be recessed for a narrow vanity. Looks great. Bought it for size. Nice having mirrors on both sides of door and back.Value would have been enhanced significantly without cons as listed. [shelves not in yet. construction is not complete.] Contractor installed - had to get help but said it went fairly well. Cons: Shelves are not adjustable nor can additional shelves be added making it less than functional and limits amount of storage. Direction of doors cannot be changed. Quality is OK but significantly less so than Kohler medicine cabinet which is much sturdier [which we put in our guest bathroom . Would have purchased Kohler over this brand if came in the size we needed for the space we have. Was very inconvenient to have to make a trip to home depot to pick up the unit. HD should have shipped to the house for free for products not offered in the stores. Took longer than expected to arrive; date kept changing. July 9, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by be sure to check the inside! Got the cabinet about a month ago. Knew it would be a few weeks before I would be able to install it because I have a big remodeling project going on, but wanted to have it here when I needed it. The cabinet was in perfect condition on the outside, but the mirrored doors were wrapped in plastic and I didn't want to open it because I would be moving it around. Figured if the outside was OK, the inside would be too. I was wrong. Went to install it the other day and unwrapped it and opened the doors to install it. One of the mirrored doors inside was shattered. I thought I could go ahead and install it and get a replacement door, but am glad I called about it 1st. Turns out you can't get a replacement door, but have to return and reorder the cabinet. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for another one. Haven't got to use it to rate it yet. June 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Missing One Correct Shelf Clip , But Had 36 Wrong Clips Rust-proof, stylish, but heavy to hang, because it's mostly mirror and glass. Takes at least 2 people to install. Has much more than average storage space. December 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Arrived damaged Very large to return. Very disappointed, why offer to ship mirrors if they don't arrive intact? June 27, 2016
