Answer:
It does come with a back splash but if you want a side splash you have to order that separately. Just be aware that if the side splash is cut from a different slab than the vanity top that the colors might not match perfectly. You can always return the side splash if that is the case.

It comes with a backsplash. The side splash is an additional purchase, about $18 or $19 dollars. You should go to the store and make sure the side splash, which is purchased separately, matches the granite of the sink. 49 in. W Granite Vanity Top in Beige with White Basin is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 83.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Arrived Broken It looked beautiful and the color was amazing. However, when I completely opened the box and it was ready for installation, we found that the counter top was cracked across the width. It was heartbreaking and It would have take 2 weeks to receive the replacement. I ended up having to buy an in-store product since I could not wait for the replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Investment Home Remodel We needed to upgrade the bathroom vanities in a 1980's rental house. This 49 inch granite countertop with included undermount sink was perfect for the job. It looks much more expensive than it is. What a great find !! Thanks Home Depot for supplying cost effective products that made our remodel job so cost effective.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Read reviews first This is a beautiful product and looks beautiful with the cinamon Pegasus cabinet. Staff at the stores should be aware of the sealing problem. We installed the vanity top and then the faucet. Per instructions, the pipe putty was put around the individual faucet pieces before inserting through the pre-drillled holes in the countertop. By the time everything was seated and screwed down tight, the oil that was in the putty had seeped into the granite and stained dark circles around each faucet piece in the granite. Home Depot was very gracious about replacing the product (the stains could not be removed) but that was a lot of work to do twice. Seal it first!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cracked sink within 1 month After installation I was so pleased with the look and quality of the vanity top. But just 3 weeks after it was installed I noticed a three inch long hairline crack in the sink. I'm so dissappointed because it has been mounted onto my vanity and the faucet has been mounted only the granite and it looked beautiful. I'm hoping that somehow just the bowl can be replaced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! We bought this in 2 sizes, the 31" and 49", for 2 vanities in our home. My husband said the installation was easy. Due to the variation in granite, our slab had a black 1/4" dot in it, but this does not bother us. Our only complaint is that these vanity tops are not sealed. However, for the price and look of it, I still rated this a 5!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great quality We purchased this vanity top when we updated our guest bath. When first installed it looks great but it does need to be sealed. Be sure you buy this in the store because we saw wide variations in color and veining when we were shopping for this. Some labeled as "brown" ended up being very pink. Also make sure to use the special type of plumber's putty for the faucet because oils from the regular putty will leach into the granite and leave a dark stain. After a few months of light usage we started noticing small pits and chips in the surface. The piece we have has lots of small mica bits in it that seem to be coming up. We will probably end up replacing this with something of higher quality - we feel that we wasted our money of this vanity top, thinking it would last....
