Yes it comes with the drain. I believe widespread means that the handles don't have to be close to the spout, it can be spread out. As far as 'watersense' goes I think that means that the water isn't forced out like a spray, it pours out like from a pitcher of water.

Widespread means the handles and faucet neck are three different pieces.
The drain did come with the one I bought, but they miaght sell a just faucet option.

Thank you for your questions. The drain is included in the set and widespread means that the faucet is made for a sink where the faucet holes are an 8" spread so the handles are seperate. Watersense means that the faucet meets EPA standards for water conservation and gets 1.5 Gallons Per Minute.

We have a thick backsplash that came with our vanity and when the drain lever is pulled out it does hit the backsplash. My husband bent it just a little and it seems to work fine but we rarely use that function.

Thank you for your question. It really depends on how much space you have between the back of the rod and the backsplash. You want to have at least 3 inches to allow for that pop up rod to go up and down freely.

What is the height from the counter to the spout? The dimensions for total height assembled shows to be 6.7", but I need to know the spout height.

4.5 inches to the "t" but then the end kind of dips down to about 3.5 inches from the top of the counter

Ours came with a different colored drain kit, we called customer service and they replaced it. I would call customer service I have always found them very helpful!
