We renovated our condo kitchen last year and had this sink undermounted to our new granite countertops... looks fantastic. The little extra bit of depth is great. We loved it so much that we got a second one for our new home we built!
We have not experienced any issues with clean-up or pitting/scratching other reviewers have posted. We did, on both purchases though, open the box to ensure that the sink was in good condition and properly polished before purchasing.

We did a partial kitchen renovation in May of 2006 that included new granite countertops with an under-counter sink, cabinet door pulls, new lighting fixtures and new appliances. We purchased this sink to highlight the black veining in the Baltic Brown granite. The sink also complemented the black trim on our new stainless steel appliances. I also did not want to go through the pain of maintaining the luster, denting and scratching of a stainless steel sink. Besides, I have always thought that stainless steel sinks bring too much attention to themselves.
We could not be happier!!! This sink has only the slightest hard water streaking and very faint fading on two side walls of the left sink from spatter, and none of the pitting that other people mention. It is really fantastic (see photos). It is the most frequently used item in any home and still looks great. We routinely clean it with soap and water and maintain it every month or so with common granite cleaning spray or wipes. We would be perfectly content to have anyone see it the way it normally is, but when company comes over we just give it a 30 second fresh wipe with cleaner wipes and it looks like new. I am sure you cannot say the same thing for most sinks, 7 years old or not.
We plan to retire and downsize in another 7 years and are starting to think about scheduled maintenance items that will improve resale value (roof last year, bathrooms this year, etc.). We donât intend to replace the granite as part of the staging process, but I am sure that a brand new identical sink in a custom-cut granite top will really set the kitchen off well.
That is why I am going to my local Home Depot this afternoon to buy a new one as a backup. That is how great I think this sink is. I will then take the sink in its box down to the basement. There it will sit for another 7 years until I change it out with the old one for resale. Maybe we will use the extra money we get on resale for a nice vacation. Love, love, love this sink.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0Â by Susan VERY DISAPPOINTED. SINK IS PITTING AND LOOKS AWFUL.
I have had this sink less than a year and after a couple of months noticed that it seemed to be pitting. It is just getting worse and where it was just in the left bowl at first now I am finding small starts in the right bowl. I am working with Blanco who makes this line for Home Depot to see if they will at the least replace it. I will still have to pay again to have it installed. The photo I show magnifies the size of the pitting. It is only about 1/4 to 3/8 inches across but this shows it best.

Purchased this sink after much research. Uneasy to try something so different. Looking for as easy of maintenance as possible as we drink lots of coffee and tea at our house, and our kitchen is a high use area. Was always on my husband to be neater as we had a stainless sink I wiped constantly. I have been so highly impressed with this sink. Wow do I love it! Only cleaning required is dish detergent and a wipe down. Love, love the slate color. Also purchased the slate drains and stoppers which are awesome. No more coffee and tea stains if my husband pours some down the drain and doesn't rinse with water. The first time I dumped boiling water from cooking pasta, I held my breath, but no problems or issues and I've had the sink for over a year now. I would never go back to stainless or porcelain.

We bought this product not two years ago and it's degrading as I write this. Stay away from this sink! It has multiple cracks on the underside that we didn't discover for a bit, as they are not visible from the top. The edges of the sink underneath also appear to just be, well, degrading....hard to explain. The sink we bought is an under mount, covered by granite countertop. We now have to hire a granite contractor to remove the old sink....in addition to hiring a plumber to detach and install new sink. Save yourself and choose another product!
