I want to thank a previous poster who gave the tip to use baby oil after cleaning the sink. We live in an area with very hard water and calcium build up is common, and especially visible on black, and VERY visible on this sink. Recently I tried rubbing it down with baby oil and even after a couple days it still looks pristine. Use the baby oil. I attached two pics, one side that has no baby oil, and the other wiped down with the oil. Amazing. Don't let the "hard to clean" reviews sway you.

We updated our kitchen in 2011. I am so happy with this sink! I love the large, deep side for pots and oversized pans. I like the regular sized side for hand washing a load of dishes. The beautiful chocolate color was exactly as I imagined, but the sparkles were an unexpected bonus! This sink is very durable. I am not gentle with it and it is still as beautiful as it was on the day of installation.

We decided to update our kitchen...rejuvenated countertops, sleek pull-down faucet, repainted cabinets. The centerpiece is this fantastic sink. Love the deep left hand bowl which will hold a turkey pan, the drains which are well-placed at the end of the bowl, and the color brown (a wonderful deep chocolate). No problems or extra steps to keep clean. Don't let water stand in it if you live in an area with hard water as I do.

This sink's metallic chocolate color is amazing and goes well with my oil rubbed bronze fixtures in my kitchen. The large bowl holds my large pots and pans perfectly.

Was worried about staining, cracks and chips reported in other reviews but such has not been the case. It has held up and has performed as promised so far. This replaced an old porcelain sink and installation was very easy.

I have had this sink for 6 years and still looks new. Get some granite polish to rub it out and it will sparkle like the day you bought it!!

We were very pleased with the help from Home Depot employees as this was a special order and they had it delivered to our home in just a few days. The color was a perfect match for our granite countertops. It was replacing our current sink and I decided to install the sink and faucet myself. Everything went as planned however someone should have warned me that an old fat guy does not fit in the undersink cabinet.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CarsandTrains Excellent Price & GREAT SINK - Would Buy it again!
We installed as an undermount in our new kitchen, cream cabinets with a carmel glaze and Orion or Kosmos Granite counter tops. We looked at the Black version of the sink in the store and I tried as hard as he could to scratch the sink, I used a pocket knife and no scratch! My wife thought I was nuts of course, but I wanted to see if it was as scratch resitant as they say. I would say you would need a hammer or a power tool to scratch it, Very durable and looks great! We wanted the chocolate or dark brown color so we had something a little different, we have oil rubed bronze and it looks great with the hardware too! HD sale made this sink about one hundred dollers less than the store price and shipping was free, so it was an easy desison to get the custom color. Shipping was fast, 4 days from order date. Had it now for several weeks and can't see any reason why it won't be our sink for a long, long time. It is made of 80% granite so you can shine it up with a granite restore and sealer if you choose, not sure if it will need it though. Also the 40/60 design is just what we wanted, it is the deepest sink we could find at 10" and this also is what we wanted, We have a family of 6 and we can rince all of the dishes and put in the left side before loading the dishwasher and they basicly disapear below counter level, We love this vs the dishes heaping out of the sink look we had before :)
