This vanity changes the whole look of our small powder room. It is true that the backsplash is slightly shorter than the vanity top, but I have been looking at it for several weeks now and it no longer looks odd. We did have a problem with installation because our pipes come up through the floor instead of the wall. We had to cut holes in the bottom and also cut a notch in the back of the shelf to accomodate the pipes. Then we had to remove the granite top, which was screwed on with 8 screws, in order to lift the cabinet up over the pipes. It was too heavy with the top on. This extra step (plus re-attaching the top) took about 30 minutes. Be aware that it's a very small sink basin. Also with the backsplash there is limited space for the faucet, so make sure you measure before buying the faucet. However it is perfect for our purposes, and is a really beautiful piece. We did replace the knobs with brushed nickel, which was a huge improvement. We did not like those knobs at all, but that's minor. We also bought the matching mirror, and it looks really nice and is a perfect match.

Ordered 2 of these and each one had manufacturing defects that should have never made it past any type of quality inspection upon finishing. First had a gouge in the granite top and glue squeeze out on door panel that was unacceptable AND it was stained and lacquered right over the glue...this was #1 cabinet. HD was fantastic with the return. # 2 arrived with 2 1" nicks in the door that I was able to hide with putty and stain as I wasn't going to hold up my project any longer. Also purchased a matching mirror from this collection and guess what.... That also had a nicked corner on the face of the mirror... Also did my own repair on that. The cabinet itself is very nice but the quality control is the issue... To be expected with the made in China tags I suppose

The only issue with this vanity is that we had to order it twice because it arrived to the store damaged the first time. The second time we had it shipped to the house instead and it arrived in perfect condition. The vanity looks beautiful in our bathroom!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Deborah A beautiful cabinet!
We just finished our bathroom project and the vanity is the star! When I was first looking at it, it was back ordered and unavailable. I found it elsewhere but for an additional $250 (and no free shipping)! The vanity did arrive just when they said it would and was well packed with layers of protective foam, cardboard, and even fiber board on the top. The shipper wasn't just the post office but a truck that brought it into my garage on a pallet. It was in impeccable shape - not a scratch on it! The cabinet part is beautiful and the granite top flawless. I would highly recommend this product - the price is great and the free shipping a real deal!!

Very nice piece. The shelf is a big plus for such a small vanity but only fits on the very bottom because of the drain. Although there is an opening for the drain in the back of the cabinet, we needed to cut out for the water lines. Not to difficult thought as two 2" holes were exactly perfect for this.
The back splash is about 1 l/2 inches too short. I cannot understand why they would design it like that. I had read the prior review about this and I thought it was a mistake. No mistake - the granite back splash falls short. We have not installed that piece yet as we cannot agree as to whether it looks better with or without.

Haven't install it yet. Was relieved that the wood IS high quality. Good thick solid door. Has shelf inside and it's quite spacious in there. This replaces a pedestal sink in small powder room that had no counter area--so guests had no place to rest their comb or makeup bag or curling iron. Quite pleased with this find in that it's one of very few quality options with only 18 in depth, has a counter area all around the sink and storage underneath. It makes a little bathroom functional. Note that the black granite, which looks and feels rich, has little coppery sparkles in it. it's not a matt black. I never would have chosen black, but there were no options and it will work fine enough in my bath, but given this would likely always be used in a small bathroom, the manufacturer should consider other, lighter color options for the granite and even the wood tones. I was worried about how small the sink would , but it's not too small at all. I bought a coppery/bronze faucet with a 4" spout reach and it fits and looks proportionately perfect.

The curved front allows a sense of more space as well as a visual eye catcher.

We bought this vanity for our powder room to replace an older pedestal sink in an effort to gain some storage capacity and to upgrade the look of the room. This was one of the only vanities I found in a classic or traditional style that was less than 20" deep, which our space requires. This vanity is beautiful. The wood grain and tone are as pictured on the website and the construction is excellent. The levelers on the bottom of the piece came in handy with our less-than-level floor. The unique old gold/bronze tone decorative knobs and hinges complement the classic style of the vanity perfectly. We went with an oil rubbed bronze faucet to be consistent with the other hardware in the room, but the increasingly popular old gold tone would be equally lovely.
I do have two criticisms/suggestions: First, the black granite back splash is not wide enough. For a better look it should be the same width as the vanity top up to the point where the waterfall edge begins. Ours was at least an inch and a half short of that, so we had to just center it on the vanity top. Second, the shelf needs to have a cut-out to accommodate the plumbing, as is the case with some of the other vanities we considered. My husband had the tools to accomplish this on his own, but others might not, making the shelf unusable.
Nevertheless, this is a beautiful piece and I can recommend it without reservation.
