S-Style Extension Brass 13 in. Shower Arm with Flange in Polished Chrome is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 56.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what we needed. Seems like a pretty common, stock item. I don't understand why it's only available online. Came to my local store fairly quickly, packaged in a box big enough to ship a small t-rex. But, exactly the replacement piece we needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality product The online order came very fast and the installation was quick. The box included thread seal tape which was convenient. It gives about 12" clearance from the wall to the middle of shower head (2-1/4" from wall to the lower part of S). I also ordered 12" rain shower head (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Kingston-Brass-1-Spray-12-in-Rain-Showerhead-with-130-Jets-in-Chrome-HKX8221/204759528) which is very nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product This is a quality product and greatly undervalued. I compared the price and found this to be far more reasonable than all the others of a similar style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Combination For Your Rainshower Showerhead!!! I've recently received a Rainshower Showerhead, and all I had to connect it to was the standard 3" wall pipe everyone has in their shower. After installing the Showerhead, I was not satisfied with the results. I was not getting that Rainshower effect. In looking through the Home Depot web site, I came across this extension arm...Perfect! The extension arm arrived in about 3 days, and the installation could not have been easier. If you needed it, the instructions were as good as it gets...Simple, and to the point. They even included a small roll of Teflon Tape. This shower extension is exactly what I wanted, is high quality, and solid metal. Extremely pleased with this shower extension arm, and Highly Recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from THE thing to get if you buy a big showerhead . . . I had bought an expensive showerhead which when mounted was aimed at about chest height on me with where the existing neck that came out of the wall. I made multiple trips and had even resorted to making my own from joints of PVC until I stumbled onto this online. They don't have them in their stores and they aren't available to pickup in Home Depot or Lowes. If you're looking to solve the situation I just described save yourself a lot of time and money and go ahead and order this shower arm. I don't find it fair what it costs to have it shipped but compared to try to engineer one for myself after multiple attempts I would say to just give up and get yourself one.
