Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BrownEyedGirl The best pedestal sink out there ...
I am working with a contractor to build-out some brand new office space, which must be ADA-compliant. My only options were therefore a standard wall-mount bathroom sink, or a pedestal sink. This Pegasus-brand pedestal is, in my opinion, one of the best out there - especially for a small office project like mine. It has distinctive elegant lines, combined with the practicality of offering enough space to hold a small soap dispenser. But the best feature of all is the backsplash ... which prevents small items from dropping over the side - very important in a small, public bathroom. If you're shopping for a quality ADA-compliant pedestal sink for a single-use public bathroom, this Pegasus product is a TERRIFIC option. Plus, Pegasus products, in my opinion, are generally VERY well-made and offer an exceptional value at a great price. Keep up the great work, Home Depot!

We purchased this sink trying to open up our bathroom, but were not too familiar with the installation of a pedestal sink at first AND was not familiar with the Pegasus line. After doing some research,(which is why you're probably reading this, too) and visiting a store to put my hands on it, we made the purchase. The job proved to be easy. During the remodel, we installed a cross brace behind the wall to support the sink even more. There are instructions included. The only parts change we made was to purchase two longer lag screws(parts are included) because we had thick tiles on the wall with 1/2" backer board behind it and they had to go throgh the cross brace I made as well. We needed the additional length to push the lag bolt far enough in for the butterfly flanges to open up to create a hold. Most people probably wouldn't need to or want to do this, as the base supports the sinks weight by itself. The sink has a very smooth glazing with beautiful paterns in the design, it is solidly constructed and it is well made. My wife loves it. We received raves on its look when we had friends/family over.It made our small bathroom so much larger. My wife goes to this sink to wash her face and things,..I guess she is trying to tell me something about our master bathroom sink, because she is always commenting on how much she likes to use it,...go figure.

Lovely, really opened up the bathroom that used to have a sink & under cupboard & drawers. We put a American Standard Cadet faucet on it & it is very nice.

It came as expected, and looks great. The color "white" was whiter than the Koehler commode, but was close enough. I installed it twice as I didn't think I needed to connect the drain before seating the basin. Wasn't room, to completly tighten the drain nuts. Removed the basin, connected the P tubes to the drain and reinstalled. Worked. Suggest a younger, thiner installer. 70 and 250 has difficulty.

Product arrived in good condition and on time, but when we went to install ran into problems. Sink bowl and base would not seat together properly. Could not get it even. Maybe could have shimmed it somehow, but felt it was a problem we should not have to deal with. If shims are needed they should be included and instructions on how to solve problem. Returned for full refund and settled for a small vanity. Not to my wife's satisfaction.

I just love the sink. It is beautiful, but it is smaller than I pictured it which turned out to be a good thing. I miss the extra cabinet space but it does open up the bathroom more.
