Purchased the unit, took home, put the wheels on, plugged it in and NOTHING!!!! NEVER CAME ON. PIECE OF JUNK! Looking it over closely the materials seem to be sub-par very thin metals. What you would expect from China. Buyer beware, Spend a few more dollars for a better made unit.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DisappointedInAtlanta You better hope it doesn't break...
It heats up a small room fairly well but it takes a while. The lack of a fan is nice. Unfortunately, the power switch gave out on mine in just over 1 year - just after the warranty expired. Too expensive to repair. Even if it is under warranty when it breaks, you have to pay for shipping which costs almost as much as a new one AND they say they may take up to 60 days to repair or replace it!

This oil heater is safe, reliable, and priced right!
I work at camp where we use many of these heaters to provide our guests with safe heat to ward off the winter chill. They are easy to use and energy efficient. I will certainly buy more in the future!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JMSGEN Good litle heater
This is a good little heater. Don't buy one of these thinking you will turn off your furnace. They work well, make little noise, you CAN hear the thermostat "click" but it isn't annoying like an electric blanket. For the price it is a good addition. Please note where I live doesn't get freezing, this was purchased to keep the chill away in one of the bedrooms.

Good little heater for the price but like products built nowadays it broke after the warranty expired. Looks like the switch or thermostat may have gone out. Will try to fix but otherwise I'll have to spend MORE money to replace it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by happy2share Available power setting
Only had this product a week, it seems to work well. I heat a section of a fifth wheel trailer about 12'x20'. I turn it on HI (1500 watt) for about 20 minutes to achieve warm temp, then to MED (900 watt) to maintain, as it will be more cost efficient. Oil heaters are better left turned on. They take a little longer to get warm. Only drawback is casters could be a bit larger for the weight.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lyse A great mobile space heater
This is an excellent space heater and for a decent price! I use it on the low and medium settings and my bedroom is kept very warm! I like this version of the space heater better then the ones with fans that blow the hot air on you and dry out the air. This one does not have a timer though so remember to turn it off! Has a light on it that indicates when it's on.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ekd62 Great little heater!!
This heater, although not very big or complicated, was well within my budget, and works great. I used it to keep my outer rooms nice and warm during one of the coldest weeks of the year...no problems with frozen pipes or feet!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by clj81 Broke after a few months
I bought this heater because it was the cheapest I could find around - it worked fine a few months and then the knob that selects temperature broke. I am no longer able to turn the unit off or on. I tried to contact the company and the emails bounced back to me and phone calls went to recordings. Avoid this product - spend a few extra dollars and choose a more reputable company.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by lucy these are the best heaters
These heaters are so safe and have two settings min and med which allows for a lot of variety of settings when you turn the heat level dial.
The wheels are on a metal bar that installs with wing nuts which could not be easier to use.
These heaters have been great and I keep on low in the coldest rooms so we don't have to use the oil heat as much. Enjoy and keep cozy!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GeeAreTee Easily meets expectations
Very easy to use, has the right number of controls and it is very quiet. Granted, I live in California so it never gets too cold but I never need to put it past low. It helps to turn it on about 15 mins before going to bed. It easily heats up a medium sized bedroom. Was worried that such a low priced heater would not be good but I've been very satisfied.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jroussell great product
shipping was pretty quick. The product works well and fast. The heat stays in the home as long as there aren't many leaks/drafts. I would recommend buying this if you want to save on energy and time.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Richard Good product
It takes a while to reach the desired temperature, but I bought 2 of these heaters and, at the maximum setting, they will heat a 1,500 sq. ft. house on a cold day to reasonable temperatures. I love the fact that there is no noise.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Yugo It does the job for an inexpensive item
I had to return an infrared heater that was expensive and did not function properly. No problem returning it. I exchanged it for one that cost a third as much which works. No questions and no problems.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by LS1and2 Lasted a month bad buy
We bought two of these and they both died on the same day.. One burned out a socket and left black marks on the wall and both lost their thermostats. If you turned it on high it went off and vice versa..

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by yodawg I must have gotten a lemon
I must have gotten a lemon. I have used these heaters before for many years and they have worked fine. This one that I bought in November 2011 never got hot enough to put out any heat. Turning up the gauge had no effect. It always stayed luke warm. It looked like it might have been previously opened. I had to return it for a refund as there were none left for an exchange.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dsmith1959 This product is excellent and very efficient
I bought 2 of these heaters to heat a large living room and kitchen, and it heats both rooms very comfortably. I will be purchasing 3 more of these heaters for my 3 bedrooms they are great!!! I live in southeast Ky and had my furnace go out,and these have been our main source of heat , and it costs less for me to heat the house with these than running a furnace.

I purchased two of these. So far, in a 1680 square foot home with them set on medium, they're keeping the house very comfortable. They're attractive and seem safe. I would recommend them.

i got home and plugged in the item, and it has been on for 38 minutes on High with Max thermostat. the radiator is barely warm. how long do i need to wait for the unit itself to heat up? this is ridiculous. returning and getting a different product.

It is warm if you are sitting right next to it...Even with turning it on all the way and following all the instructions. It says it will heat a large room. Not true.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Eddie Best Value For My Dollar
The heat in my apartment does not work very well and with a 9 month old at home, I needed something to keep his room warm as the cold weather months approached. This heater was the perfect thing! I think the built in thermostat is the best feature as well as the tip over shut off feature.
It worked so well, I bought another one for my own bedroom.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Batwater Very reliable and low setting not an electric heat monster
I use these in tack rooms for our horse stable. I can put them on the low setting and they don't use a lot of electricity. They are so safe and we use them where I need power on a temporary basis. We have 6 of them. I have had the part of the heater quit working after several years of use. They are safer and more reliable then those with electric coils.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by chughes53 Great basic heater
I needed a good, quiet heater for my workshop and this oil-filled unit works great. It is simple to use, with no unnecessary bells and whistles to drive up the price, making it a great value. Like any heater at this level, it is really built for relatively small spaces, but my answer for my shop is just to use two units.

So far, I have used this heater to take the chill off one room in the mornings. It serves its purpose well and heats quickly. The heat is strong and in about 1/2 hour the room is completely warm. The room is 11x22.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Californialiving Highest Electric Bill Ever
Unfortunately, this unit is very energy inefficient. After running one of these for 2 weeks, I had the highest electricity bill I've ever had. I'm returning this to the store. I wanted an efficient option to central heating, but this unit uses as much electricity as central heating. I'm going back to central heating, no money savings here.
