Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ken Peltier ultimate 10 earmuffs
Drowns out the sound of a tablesaw, and workshop noise. They do a good job, and are adjustable.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 456Me01 Shuts out loud apartment neighbours perfectly
These 3M ear muffs are wonderful. Much more comfortable than ramming wax earplugs into the center of your head trying to stop incoming noise. They completely stop all hearing of the noisy neighbours in our apartment complex. Can't hear their music, their rolling their computer chair all over what is my ceiling, and can't hear their talking either.
This means I can sleep better (yes it is possible to sleep in these muffs) and concentrate
when awake, also (i.e. reading.) Can't recommend these enough :)

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 77yrs Should have bought them years ago
I have used them on several occasions while shooting various handguns and they work great. Our local range officer uses these muffs daily.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kaciemah They are okay
They reduce noise a little but are not noise cancelling. Purchased for my child to use during train rides. He has sensory processing disorder.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by John Excellent noise reduction
Excellent noise reduction. Comfortable. The headset is much bigger than other headsets but the noise reduction rating is generally higher than the more stream lined models.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by gc1012 Not the miracle I hoped for but work okay.
I chose between these and the Leight. The 3M name sold me even tho I use Leight's earplugs for years as the best I've found. Maybe all muffs are the same but these were hard to adjust (bent the thin wire headband) and really squeeze my head (how else to block sound?) I bought muffs because they seem so much more convenient than plugs to put on and off which of course they are. My ears are long used to plugs so I can wear them without discomfort all day if I need to. I am not used to the muffs and take them off as soon as possible. The Leight plugs also have very noticeably better noise attenuation as well. I guess for now I will use both but rely on the foam plugs for long or high noise jobs.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by UTAvsFan Tight, but great for kids
Bought these for my 6 year old who has sensory issues. They fit great with the adjustable head band. Tight on my adult head, but he doesn't seem to mind them, so I guess they're fine on his head (he's non-verbal).
