Dear Valued Home Depot Customer,
We reached out to MFG for more information and below is their response.
“ These planters were not designed to fit a specific amount into a nursery container. They are 6” in diameter if that helps."

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Pots I purchased 20 last year and another 30 this year to re-plant 4" potted plants I order from Bluestone Perennials to get a good root system growing before planting in the Garden. Can't beat the price and reusable. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent value for a great price! I bought these containers for some outdoor growing until I can transplant next year. I was very surprised by the sturdiness of the container for the price. I can see getting several years out of these containers. Nice large drain holes on the bottom as well. April 25, 2016
