I bought this product and followed the directions and there should be a warning saying will not grow in Florida if you have sand of any kind in your yard. we spread it out and installed a sprinkler system and watered it 20 min two times a day and not one of the seeds sprouted so upset with this product. So beware Florida

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Greg Five weeks and still waiting
After some stump removal, I had some bald spots on my lawn. I replaced the topsoil and planted the seeds. After six weeks, I am still waiting for any results. I followed the directions exactly as listed on the packaging, but would not recommend this product.

DESPITE BEING WELL WATERED EVERY DAY MOST OF THE SEED HAS FAILED TO GERMINATE. THE CONTAINER AS WELL AS ALL OTHER CONTAINERS WERE HEAVILLY LADEN WITH BLACK DUST/DIRT, SO POSSIBLY SHELF LIFE IS THE PROBLEM.

Expensive and I can't get it to grow or should I say I bet about 25% of it actually grew and that's debatable as it looks as thoe the other grass just creeper in and filled the bare spots. I bought some of the Bermuda grass seed and it grew just fine.

The grass only grew in spots. Guess the container's condition, dirt so thick from sitting on the floor I had to get it bagged before I would put in my car, was a red flag. Obvisouly not a best seller.

The home depot rep. recommended these seeds and said they were guaranteed. Well I'm still waiting for the grass to grow and I'll see what guaranteed consist of if the grass doesn't grow.

I have re-seeded the same 5ft X 6ft area 3 times now since March and still a very small percentage of grass. I used fresh top soil left the seed on top the first time and watered it regularly. The second seeding I mixed the seed (and lots of it) in new topsoil and put it down. The third time again as the first and it didn't matter I got the same results, maybe 10% production.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by labedaelaine Pensacola Bahiagrass grass seed
Pensacola bahiagrass was selected from plantings found in Pensacola, Florida in 1935 and has become the most widely grown variety. Pensacola is a long, narrow-leafed bahia used extensively along the roadsides in Florida due to its deep, fibrous root system and readily available seed. It is the second best lawngrass behind the variety Argentine, but is a very prolific seedhead producer.
