Will this help add some Boron into the soil? My banana trees have a calcium and boron deficiency. Easy it seems to correct the calcium, but I can't find Boron in anything.

As I was not as familiar with the use of Magnesium (the key component of Epsom Salt is magnesium sulfate) in the garden or lawn, I did a bit of research and found that a thin application can help with greening and the health of your plants and grasses. I would recommend a soil test as well as posting the question to our Lawn and Garden experts at www.community.homedepot.com. They can likely give you a more informed opinion than my limited research revealed.

Can this be used to remove tree stumps?

This question is from 7 lb. Epsom Salt
September 15, 2016
I've read that to get rid of a thick tree stump after cutting down a tree, drill holes about 3" apart into the remaining stump and fill the holes with Epsom salt. This will cause the stump to dry out and decompose over time (months). Repeated filling of the holes is required. And be sure to cover the stump with plastic to prevent rain water from entering the holes.
