Product Overview

Home Master Artesian Full Contact Reverse Osmosis System solves many of the problems associated with traditional reverse osmosis systems. Home Master systems use larger fittings and tubing than traditional reverse osmosis systems to double the flow rate. Traditional reverse osmosis systems produce demineralized water that is pure but acidic. This acidic water attacks the rubber bladder in the storage tank, enters the water stream and affects the taste. The patented Full Contact Artesian remineralizes the water twice - once on the way to the storage tank, and once again on the way to the faucet adding a small amount of calcium and magnesium minerals (30-60 mg/l combined) - just enough to make the water slightly alkaline and improve the taste. It delivers mineral water on tap by first stripping the water clean, removing up to 98% of chloramines, chlorine, chemicals, heavy metals, dissolved solids, pharmaceuticals and other contaminants using reverse osmosis, sediment and catalytic carbon filtration, then channels the water through the patented remineralization system twice to add calcium and magnesium minerals from a fresh new source. With seven stages of filtration, purification and enhancement The Home Master Artesian Full Contact produces exceptionally pure, mineral water on tap. In the box: Assembled purification unit with filters and membrane, storage tank, 3/8 in. feed water adapter with shut off, chrome faucet and adapter, drain saddle.

  • Purity you need with the minerals you want restores natural calcium and magnesium minerals removed during the reverse osmosis process to produce clean, pure mineral water on tap
  • Exceptional purification - removes up to 98% of chemicals, chloramines, chlorine, heavy metals, sediment, and other contaminants then adds good minerals
  • Superior design - filter element and the filter housing are all-in-one modular assembly for quick and easy annual changes - no wrenches required
  • Advanced long lasting filters 2,500 Gal. or 1 year between filter changes
  • Included fast flow RO kit - double the flow from your faucet fills your cup twice as fast as standard RO systems
  • No electricity required

Answer:
Yes you can. I have made this modification to my unit by by splicing a tee into the blue line and added an additional shut off valve leading to the refrigerator. I do not have as great of water pressure at the refrigerator as I do at the sink faucet but it is adequate and a big plus having RO ice and chilled RO water!

I'm not sure if you are asking if you can connect it to the fridge only, or in addition to using the included RO faucet, but the answer is yes to both - with some notes. To connect to the fridge -in addition to the RO Faucet- use our Refrigerator Connection Kit part#FridgeCon31. You can connect it to a fridge only, but you will need to disconnect it from the fridge periodically when you service the unit. Read More
I'm not sure if you are asking if you can connect it to the fridge only, or in addition to using the included RO faucet, but the answer is yes to both - with some notes. To connect to the fridge -in addition to the RO Faucet- use our Refrigerator Connection Kit part#FridgeCon31. You can connect it to a fridge only, but you will need to disconnect it from the fridge periodically when you service the unit. You must purge the system when new and when changing filters and you do NOT want to do this via the fridge water dispenser. I suggest Teeing off the line and adding an inline ball valve to the fridge line and making a dedicated flush line that's long enough to snake back around tot he sink basin or into a large bucket. We can help you with this. Please call for support 1-877-693-7873 M-F 9am to 5pm MST. Read Less

Answer:
This system is an undersink RO system, it is not designed for whole house use. If you seek to remove "Calcium buildup os [sic] ruining my plumbing and appliances" please consider a water softener.

Answer:
The system only removes minerals from the water you receive from the dedicated faucet you will add to your sink. You can also hook up your ice maker in your refrigerator. It is not a whole house filter.

Answer:
Not this model. Consider model Ultra or HydroPerfection for iron up to 1ppm. More than that, and you should consider a whole house iron filtration system. Please contact us directly with a copy of your well water report and we will make a recommendation. Call 877-693-7873 M-F 9am to 5pm MST.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 114 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Filter After alot of research i bought this filtration system and i am glad i bought this. The installation was easy and it works great. I have been using this for the last 1.5 years and i am really happy with it. August 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good purchase for drinking water straight from tap. Been thinking about purchasing one of these for several years now. Installation was extremely easy if you are a DIY person. Water is extremely good... especially like the remineralization as it adds much needed calcium and magnesium as well as adjusting the pH of the water to neutral (I take calcium / magnesium supplements to help with restless leg syndrome). Drinking the remineralized water will make you feel more relaxed and even sleep better at night due to the magnesium. Only thing is the remineralization makes the water taste bland (acidic has a little more bite to it) but I usually add a little lemon. I still prefer the added minerals over none. The size of the unit is also great if you have cramped space under your kitchen sink... other units are a lot longer due to the filter bar they are attached to and would have complicated installation under my sink as the garbage disposal already eats into my available space. Water flowrate is very nice for filling large pots and pans for cooking. All in all a great product I am very happy with. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great water system This is our second water system. It was easy to install and prime, and the water tastes really good thanks to the remineralization cartridge. August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great water Works great water tastes much better. Only thing I don't like is when it's filling sounds like water running down the drain. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Much better than similar systems at similar cost As a health conscious family of 4 involved in various sports, we know the importance of keeping hydrated. For years, I drank tap water (poor taste) while my wife bought tons of bottled water for herself and the kids. I researched and learned reverse osmosis produced the best-tasting and cleanest residential water (at a reasonable cost) so I decided to invest in an under-counter system from our local home center. Our first experience was not good. We had 3 leaks in less than 2 years at the plastic housing unit that holds the membrane and 2 filters (3 vertical units). 1 leak was my fault, due to a replacement filter not being properly seated (twisted) into the plastic housing. Unfortunately, that leak was not visible until the unit pressurize overnight and we were asleep in bed. The other 2 leaks were in different locations of plastic housing unit which we replaced twice. Both leaks appeared after 10-12 months. Our house has normal water pressure, between 40-60 psi. Our hardwood floors were nearly ruined!! Our second experience, buying the Home Master Artesian Full Contact system at The Home Depot, has been much better. The design is superior (better connections) which makes it easier to install and replace filters, plus it eliminates the plastic unit that frequently leaked on the other brand. The filters last longer too! Our water tastes great and everyone is happy. I highly recommend the Home Master Artesian Full Contact Reverse Osmosis System. August 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional water filter system We bought this system to replace our old Watts Reverse Osmosis system last year. We could not be more pleased with it. The quality of the water is exceptional, and the taste of it is much better than the water we got with our old system. It filters quickly and quietly and we have had no problems with leaks. The best feature of all is the ease of attaching the filters. Changing filters in our last system was a monumental undertaking that required brute strength and caused water to spill everywhere during the filter change. These filters simply pop on or off the tubing - what a wonderful thing! We would recommend this system to anyone looking for an under sink filter system. June 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Truly Artesian Water? I do not write many reviews about products i have bought, but i have to say something about this water filtration system. My wife and I truly love it. We live in West Texas where the water is thick and not good tasting. This system has tamed the local water and we love it. My wife said it is the best water she has ever tasted. I am glad my old Sears filtration system expired. Pros - the water tastes great, has good water flow, is quiet, and the filters last a long time. Cons - none. I researched many brands and bought this based on product reviews. I am glad i bought it and i highly recommend the product. June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great water filtration system I order the Artesian system as a replacement to a different manufacturer's system which had started to leak. I'm not the handiest of people, so I paid a plumber about $150 to remove the old unit and install the new one, which took about an hour. We're really happy with the taste of the water. The water pressure is great. The multi-stage filters do not take as much space as prior units. All in all, very pleased with our choice. July 15, 2016
