Can you mount this system vertically?

My mainline runs vertically up from my basement, can I mount this unit vertically (i.e. filters would sit perpendicular to what is pictured from other users photos). I DO NOT WANT TO RISK LEAKS.
Asked by: D33PZ3R0
I understand you are saying your mainline are running vertically from your basement: it also will depend where your hot-heater are located at. If it nearby. Even though your mainline are vertically. Which mean 180 degrees in it place. You should be able to tie in to your cold water line coming off the hot-water heater or your mainline which would be your cold water line as long as your filtration system what i call the canister or sitten straight up and down as you seen in the photos. I would recommend for as your pipe lines to use would be PVC or CVC that what I use and it do work. Hope I help in some why to solve your question. Oh by chance if you did not know filtration system can not be in hot-weather or cold -weather must be mounted in side of some place also must be hook up to your oold-water line.

Plumber says that a few pinhole leaks in my copper pipes are due to corrosion caused by impure city water. Will this unit reduce corrosion in pipes?

Or is plumber not correct about the water corroding the pipes? It's decent city water, with no major smells or tastes.
Asked by: DRock
Its possible that the leaks are cause by the water. Please contact us with a water report from your municipality, or your physical address and we will look it up for you.

I've had this particular model filtration system for 2 yrs now and I can say that it has worked flawless! Before I purchased this system I did my due diligence on different brands in this price range and found that this was the best around for what it can do for our family of four. There is nothing about this system to dislike!

I purchased this product, not because our water was bad, but mostly because we have enough sediment to be a hassle. The carbon water filter is just a precaution. It is too soon to rate its performance, but the installation was very easy. It installed in less than an hour. It does not seem to have reduced our pressure in any way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase! So glad we bought this product. We have city water and had to buy bottled water for drinking. The city water was ruining our appliances and bathroom fixtures. We even had to hand wash our dishes because the dishwasher left the dishes with film on them. Immediately after install we were able to drink great tasting water, and the dishes are sparkling clean!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good water filter system I installed this filter unit myself 10/22/13. My water comes from a community well. The water was brown in a 5 gallon bucket. My faucets and toilet were coated with crud from the water. After using this filter system for 1 year, my faucets, toilet, shower do not have the mineral build up anymore. The water is nice and clear in the 5 gallon bucket test. I drink bottled water so I can't compare taste in before and after comparison. Very nice setup. Not too hard to install. I'm an avid do it yourselfer. I recommend using Teflon Tape on threaded fittings. Then you won't have to fix leaks later. I used 1" PVC with universal disconnect fittings and bypass valves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big help We had problems with our well. Large amounts of sediment and cloudy water. We had our well cleaned out but our water was still stained. The filter took care of it. Also the next time we have trouble we won't have to take apart every fawcet and shower valve in the house to stop them from leaking!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safe, easy, affordable solution for clean water & great customer service! This was easily installed and provided our entire home with pure water for everything. It made a huge difference in our water quality and saved us a fortune on bottled water. This product is well-worth the investment, as the filters last a long time, it works great and ensures your water is contaminate free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this water system!!! I have owned this whole house water system for about 7 month now and I love it. I have a very big family so I have to replace the filters sooner than recommended. I originally bought it as a pre filtered for my water softener and got moor than i expected. Its a very good investment on all my appliances as well as really great tasting water. The filter are easy to change and long lasting (depending on your family size).I Will buy one for my aunt and try it with out a water softener just to see how well she will like it. She is not big on water softener but loves great tasting water! So we will see.
