Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Pergo. Unfortunately, this product has been discontinued and our supply has been depleted. Pergo Presto Walden Oak was previously a stocked SKU at Home Depot. So you may have luck calling around to stores to see if there are any left at any other Home Depot stores.

We have put laminate flooring in our new house. The people that installed our fireplace are insisting that we put something else close to the fireplace saying it is fire hazard.

The standard answer is no combustibles within 12" although there is a lot of variables to be considered. Your best answer would be to contact your town building dept code official and ask specifics to your situation. Bring a picture... they're worth a million words.

I purchased and installed Pergo flooring from Home Depot #6583 in Abilene, Tx around April or May 2009.

I need to extend the flooring to replace tile at my front door that I previously left. I have no record of the exact name or number of the product. It is very similar to the Walden Oak or Belmont Oak. I pulled a couple of planks up to find any markings on the back. I found M1 09004 18:14 100379738 on the back. Can any information be obtained from this? Or perhaps could you tell me what similar products were sold during this time at this store?

Answer:
I bet you have Pergo Bridgeport Red Oak. I installed that in our dining room in 2009. Walden oak is very close, but slightly darker in one of the hues. Bridgeport Red Oak was discontinued.

Answer:
Thank you for contacting Pergo. Unfortunately, we cannot identify your floor based on the numbers on the back of the plank. We would need the Pergo SKU typically located on the carton or a receipt. Without having this number, I suggest that you take the plank you have to your local home improvement stores and see if it matches something that is currently being sold on the market.

Answer:
since the laminate is typically sold by case multilpy the length in inches (144) by the width in inches (240) and divide by 144 (sq inches/ ft) result being 240 sqft add 10-20% for cutting loss then devide by the sqft per case to get total cases.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Long lasting and durable I put in this flooring myself. It was a little difficult because I had no experience with flooring before this. Honestly the hardest part was cutting the kick boards to the right angle because I didnt have a saw that did that. My saw only cut strait. You will need a good saw to complete this project. But, it has been about 4 years now with this floor and it has held up like a champ. It still looks bran new! I have 3 kids and a bull mastiff. We are not a family who is easy on anything. There are no scratches or nicks like I expected to happen. You hardly even need to clean it. I am more than happy with this floor and i saved a ton of money doing it myself. July 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by product is nice, customer service poor Flooring went down with relative ease although I had 2 from different boxes that had white stripes embedded along the edge. Was able to bury one but had to retain the other. Contacted pergo with the information and box ID's but didn't even receive a response. So the bottom line is I 'ate' 2 boards (about $15) and the product is no longer available so I hope I won't need to actually use the warranty service. There is better items out there and based on this experience I be using them in the future rather than pergo August 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Flloring I installed 8 packages, and it was super easy. The flooring simply locks together. January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Completely transformed my living area Since we installed our flooring, it feels like we are living in a completely different home. We no longer have to worry about doctoring stains on the carpet from our dog's muddy paws or our son's spilled juice - any messes can be easily cleaned up. And overall it has a very clean look. I cannot speak for the installation because I hired contractors for that, but judging by their feedback I don't think difficulty of installation is much of an issue. The cost is right around what I was expecting. All told, for about two grand we were able to completely transform our main living area and (hopefully) increase the value of our home. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great flooring! Very easy to install after doing a little research. We were beginners and this went very smoothly. WE hit a few rough spots ( stairs up and down , doorways, tile on the floor around fireplace) but we did our research and moved on. I would recommend to remove all baseboards ( if this pertains to you) before installing. So glad we did. We ordered 200+ sq feet and out of all the boxes there were about 12 boards manufacture damaged but we could cut the ends off of some of them and use for end of rows. We have a small dog and we have had no scratches yet. This is a high traffic area too. January 18, 2014
