Answer:
This can be used with Southern grey as it is used to seal the perimeter and vertical interruption expansion gaps and is then covered by perimeter moldings such s quarter rounds or wall bases. It will work for that application as any visible edges would not be noticeable.

Answer:
We do not recommend that you seal seams just the perimeter of the floor and the gapping at the edges and at vertical interruption, around sink area, dishwasher and refrigerator. This keeps spills from getting under the flooring panels and allowing moisture to damage the core material.

Answer:
The sealant recommended for the "expansion gap" in the floors is not to be seen as it should be below the quarter round or wall base that you use on the perimeters. You can use a clear sealant or a color compliment located in the flooring or caulking area of the store.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Pergo. You will want to use this sealant with Willow Lake Pine. It is not recommended that you seal the seams. We recommend that the areas around dishwashers, sinks, washing machines be sealed in the event that moisture occurs.

Answer:
Sealant is best measured in the linear feet of the perimeter, your room is 150 sq ft or 15ft x 10 ft approx. and that is 50 linear feet . 4 to 5 tubes should be sufficient.

The •10.5 oz. tube of sealant covers approximately 11 linear feet. So if you are planning on the entire perimeter 150/11=13.63.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not really light... This sealant may be appropriate for a lighter colored wood flooring such as oak or maple. It is not at all appropriate for a truly light colored floor such as the Vanilla Travertine Pergo XP sold by Home Depot. July 1, 2016
