Why is Coastal Pine no longer available on line by the case any longer? In need more than the 30 cases in a pallet, but certainly don't need 60 cases. None of the local Home Depots carry this in stock. Very frustrating!!!!

For general cleaning, use a dust mop, vacuum with the hard-floor attachment of your vacuum cleaner or wipe occasionally with a damp cotton or cloth mop. Answer:
You can install it over the tile. The tile should be flat rather than the textured ones as the Pergo should have a flat foundation. Note that it will add at least 8mm in floor height which may mean trimming the bottom of doors.
We installed ours in a day and it was a breeze to assemble, even with all the trimming we had to do to fit around corners, doorways, etc.
Good luck with your install!

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst laminate I've ever installed This stuff is not good! I was comfortable with the name Pergo and thought I should be confident in purchasing this product. The locking strips break very easily. When you use a block to tap the piece into place, there is a good chance it will mess up the laminate. Then, when you try to replace that piece, you are probably going to mess up the locking system on the piece that it was going to. I'm not a professional, but I've put down several floors, never Pergo. This was easily the worst. I spoke with a friend of mine who is a professional installer. I told him all the things I was running into and he concurred that it sounded like Pergo. Finished product looks good, but I feel like I have been working with factory 2nds the entire time. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent quality I have installed a number of floor materials and this product was the easiest to install. December 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I'm no expert I'm not a flipper or interior designer I'm just a person who owns a condo. I put this flooring down and it looks amazing and I have 4 animals. They like it too. Stuff is tough and great looking. Water will damage anything if you arent careful. Make sure you wipe up water ASAP (keep extra boards if you plan or installing in kitchen or bath). I would not recommend putting this in your kitchen or bath where you might get a water leak from faucet or ice maker. If water gets under the boards they will bubble just like any wood or laminate. I made a great decision when I bought this design. The floors make my other colors pop. I would recommend this product. October 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very durable...loads of compliments We live on a lake and our house is shaded by many trees, so I wanted a whitewashed, rustic look to brighten up the main areas of the house and be durable enough for four cats and two kids... Hardwoods just get so scratched up and damaged, these are awesome. We had them installed about a year ago, and I only saw one small corner worn a bit but that's it. Coastal Pine hides dirt really well too, and when guests come over they all mention how absolutely gorgeous the floors are. August 9, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Kind of shocked We Bought this for our kitchen, installed in June of 2013. I understood this was durable, and tough. There isnt a lot of traffic in the area, It's a kitchen but there are only two of us here. No dogs, no kids. And yet, the edges are warping. I thought for the price we paid it would last longer than a year and a half...The warps are fairly significant, and noticeable. QUITE disappointing. I bought this house in 1994 and saved till 2013 to finally get the kitchen upgraded from the original 1939 hole in the floors and walls mess we had. It took a long time.. and only a year and a half until we again have to replace something that took us years to get. It was a bad choice clearly. March 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tough stuff! I love my Pergo XP flooring. I was worried about how laminate would hold up to dogs running on it daily, but it's been 6 months and though they have just about worn out the rug lying over a portion of the flooring in the living room, the flooring has held up exceptionally well throughout my home. Now ask me again in a year or two. Water spills are not the disaster I expected if cleaned up right away and the color (coastal pine) is gorgeous in that funky beach style I love. December 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful and easy to care for We bought this for our new 20×20 great room that we had added onto our home. We wanted a "beach themed" room and this floor color and design was just perfect! I have always had Performance flooring in all of my prior homes and have never been disappointed. We went with the XP because we have 4 dogs. This color and design and brand is so easy to clean and care for, doesn't show any dog hair or dirt. I would highly recommend! December 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tough As Nails We bought this flooring 2 years ago and we are installing in 96 apartments ,it is only 5x10ft. but it is holding up great, people are for ever dropping and spilling on it all the time. then some are so dirty when they move out you would think you would never get it clean . A little scrubbing and guess what brand new !!!!!!!!!! December 18, 2014
