I don't want a gloss or sheen to my floor. Does this look like natural wood?

My current laminate is glossy and shows every drop of water or dog foot print. I'm looking for something that looks good between washing...requires less maintenance.

Answer:
The finish is complete but not glossy, like a wax, polished look. The darker wood and textured wood grain softens the look. We have two dogs (active siberian huskies) and have no scratches and paw prints are hard to find, does show the shedding! But that's not the floors fault.

Answer:
No it is not glossy. It has a texture that does not reflect as much. Water spots are not as noticeable, but it is dark in color and shows lint and crumbs and such. Requires a dust mop/ vacuum more often than a liquid/ damp cleaners.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Regret my Purchase After One Year I have lived with my new flooring for one year now. If you asked me 3 months after install if I loved it I would have said yes. A year+ later I can whole heartedly say no. Here's why: It scratches. It doesn't scratch easily but it does show scratch marks. I don't have a rug under my dining wood table and from where the chairs are constantly being used there are many marks. It chips. I have 3 children and about 6 chipped boards to prove it. It's loud. We paid for premium underlayment so the acoustics aren't too bad but with 2 dogs the 'clicking' from their paws gets annoying. IT DOES NOT HOLD UP TO SPILLS. I have countless boards that are raised from spilled juice or dog accidents. I clean up spills right away(if I was lucky enough to see them happen) and the edges still swell. Cleaning is not easy. Since it does not do well with water cleaning on your hands and knees with a slightly damp microfiber cloth is really the only way to get it clean. For my 1,500 square foot area, that is not fun! This flooring would be a good choice for someone who lives by themselves, no kids, no dogs.... Save the money, get real wood or better yet tile! October 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bedroom, love it We had this installed through HD, wow it's beautiful. This is the second room we had done with the same product, it looks great. September 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Highland Hickory Highly Recommended Our floors have been installed for three months and love them even more than I did when first installed. So easy to take care of. Several things dropped on it without any scratches. Everyone who visits comments on our beautiful floors. Installers were so professional and were finished in half a day. September 16, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pergo XP Laminate review Over the years I have installed laminate many times. The product has improved substantially from the initial variety. The Pergo product is at the top of the chain. Installation was easier than I expected. Very few issues, good quality product. August 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Fabulous I'm very pleased with this product. It took finding the right installation video on youtube to understand the nuances of installing it, but once we learned that, it went well. I've already had someone compliment us on how nice the floor looks. I'd definitely recommend this product to other people. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First Pergo floor This was my first time installing a laminate floor. What a breeze. Just took my time. So happy with the results. Out of the eight bixes i used, i had no issues with any boards. August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This flooring was easy to install, but if you don't have the set of install tools, get it, it was $20 well spent, made things much easier. and if you have long runs, get some help, holding the joints together along multiple pieces is difficult October 25, 2016
