We purchased this flooring for our kids' bedrooms. Carpet and kids (at least our kids) don't go well together. It looks fantastic. It's definitely difficult to tell that it's laminate and it feels nice under foot. The color is great too. It really brightens up the rooms that it is in.
I gave it an average rating for installation, but this is just based on my observation. We had a professional carpenter install it and after watching him work I don't think installation would be something my husband and I could have done on our own.
We love this product so much we want to floor our entire house in it!

Install was simple and straight forward. Looks great. The edges did not look as pronounced or defined as some of the pictures we viewed online. Very happy with the appearance and end result. Feels solid and looks great!

We are very happy with our purchase, they look great and were easy to install. I had read reviews saying some boxes were damaged, but I guess we were lucky cause ours arrived in good condition. I wasn't sure about the color, but it looks great once its all down. We use to have carpet, so we are much happier with this laminate. It looks like real wood and is very easy to keep clean. It's nice because this flooring already has padding attached so we didn't have to worry about putting the padding down. So overall I would recommend this product, we really like it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 12345 Pergo XP Vermont maple flooring
This floor was soooo fun and easy to put Down. Like your favorite jigsaw puzzle. All you need to know is how to measure and cut a short straight cut. Watch the online videos. We ordered one extra case over our required measurements and we did use that extra case. If you order online you can return the extra case to your local Home Depot store with no restocking fee. Enjoy your project.

My wife and I really wanted to put in a hardwood or manufactured wood floor, but the cost was a bit too high for our budget. We had read a lot of good reviews on this Pergo product and we liked the sample we saw at the Home Depot store so we decided to give it a try. We laid about 600 square feet that was continuous from our entry to to the front room and then into our kitchen. It wasn’t overly difficult and having the right tools was very helpful. We used a mitre, table and jig saw. We also used the installation kit. It took me longer than I thought it would. Instead of one day it took me two. Despite my wife’s objections I did stop from time to time to watch a game or two on TV.
We were replacing old tile, carpet and linoleum. We couldn’t get over how great it looked when we were done. It was hard to put the furniture back in. We just wanted to stand there and stare at it, but It still looked good when we put the furniture back. We liked that this particular Pergo product was in individual planks. That with the surface texture and the beveled edges made it appear very much like real wood. Friends that have seen it did think it was real wood. It also feels very solid when you walk on it not hollow like some floating floors I’ve experienced. We love the color. We thought the Vermont Maple might be too dark. We had wanted a light blond wood, but it turned out nice and helps warm up the room.
Overall we are very pleased with this product. So much so that we are going to use it to redo the floors in our upstairs.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Isaac First laminate install
Although this product has only been installed for a short while, I am extremely satisfied with its look and endurance. Furthermore, the install is rediculously easy, and fast. The longest and hardest part is the subfloor prep.
I have real wood installed in other portions of my home, eventhough it does not feel the same, it is solid underfoot.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Pleased with the look and the cost.
This was my first time installing this type of flooring and I spent a lot of time reading reviews. Now that the first room is done I can say that I am very pleased with the decision. The flooring looks great. The "grain" markings make it look like real wood instead of laminate. It seems very durable. I think it will hold up to traffic and be hard to chip. It was easy to install. To avoid getting up and down I would wait until I had 3 or 4 pieces to cut. Just take the little extra time to plan the board placing. That planning will also leave less scrap. Assuming the 10% extra, I estimated 13 boxes for the first room. I only used 11 boxes. So you can save some money and not worry about returning. I was worried that some reviews mentioned damaged or discolored boards. There was one damaged box, which was most likely a result of the shipping. In the 11 boxes, only 2 boards had small white marks. I was still able to use these...planning ahead. The floor does have a different sort of feel than the hardwood floor but definitely not something that makes me not want to continue using it. There are laminate floors that look fake and then there is this make and model that really makes it hard to tell. Also, I installed this where I have in-floor radiant heat.
Don't let the 4 stars fool you. I just don't like giving the highest rating because there is always something to improve on. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again...and I will be soon.

Beautifully engineered product, simple (almost FUN) to install. I'm not a gifted DIYer but this 600 sq ft installation in two rooms and two walk-in closets was a snap with this product.
