24 oz. Glass Top Fill Hummingbird Feeder is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Hummingbirds This is an attractive feeder with its large, curved glass bottle and four soft petal flowers. I really appreciate how the feeder easily disassembles for cleaning. The pieces either unscrew or snap apart. There is a small metal hook included for hanging the feeder. Most parts are plastic except for the flowers which are a soft rubber. On top of the lid is an "ant moat" which is a shallow indention that you can pour a little water into and is supposed to drown the ants that try to get the nectar. I really like the top, wide mouth opening that makes filling the bottle very easy and convenient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicest Feeder yet!!! Having had several humming bird feeders over the years, this one is the best yet! The volume is just right, preventing the feeder from having too much nectar inside resulting in it souring before consumed by the birds. The top fill feature is excellent as it prevents having to turn it upside down to use and reducing the volume inside as the air enters and the feeder fills. The ant moat is shallow and could be deeper so that it doesn't have to be filled every day. I have very large sugar ants where I live and they just wait until the afternoon to get to enter the feeder. The birds don't seem to mind the feeder and have no trouble getting to the nectar. Overall, much nicer than the others I have owned in the past.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glass feeder The description when I looked at this product did not indicate whether the main section was glass or plastic - it is glass. I worry a little about glass feeders in our neck of the woods (CO) because we have frequent winds of 40-70 mph and I'm concerned about glass feeders blowing down and shattering everywhere. However, this is a sturdy, nice looking feeder. The main section is glass, the rest is plastic. There is a well at the top where you can put a little water to catch ants. I haven't yet used the feeder as the hummers don't arrive here for several more weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to fill Since you remove the top to fill rather than removing the base, this feeder can be refilled without making a mess and before the contents completely run dry. The birds like the perches to rest while they feed. The glass jar is easy to clean and disinfect and the feeder is cute. It holds twice as much as my old one so I don't have to fill it as often, and it weighs more than the plastic ones so it moves less in the wind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and big In contrast to other feeders we have in our household, this one is easier to work with when filling. The cap comes off at the top for filling while the other feeders' caps come off at the bottom, which requires flipping the feeder for hanging. This feeder requires filling at the top, place cap back on and ready for hanging. It also carries more nector than other conventional feeders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only way to go We have had many hummingbird feeders and a top fill is the only way to go. You don't have to worry about all the sugar water spilling out everywhere when you tip it back upright and it can hold more. It is very easy to clean and maintain as well. The jar is glass and the bottom is plastic. It will not rust or corrode. You will need to fasten a hook to the top to hang it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy feeder I have been though quite a few feeders. For one reason or another they don't seem to last. They usually end up leaking the red food all over the place and making a big mess. This one is glass so I thought it may last longer. First thing I did was read the instructions that state to take the feeder apart and wash it all in soap and water and that it should be washed every 2 weeks. Never did that before so that maybe part of the issue with the short life of the previous feeders I washed it, got it back together and got the food in it. I realized when I was putting it back together I needed to be careful to get all the parts screwed together so they are even and tight. Went to hang it up and realized it was up to me to find something to put through the hole in the lid to hang it up with. I finally found some wire and got it hung up. Been up there a week and no leaks so far and I don't see the evaporation of the food like I have with previous feeders. I put some water in the top of the lid to drown any ants trying to get in but my feeder is on a high hook so it' s too hard to do that on a regular basis so that feature is pretty much worthless to me.
