Product Overview

The Perky-Pet Copper Panorama Wild Bird Feeder is sure to attract many birds to your backyard. The cutting-edge design of this feeder allows the seed to dispense into the tray and stop dispensing once the tray is full. This feeder also features the Sure-Lock cap system, an innovative squirrel proof feature which ensures the lid stays put and squirrels can’t get into the seed. The Copper Panorama holds 2 lbs. of seed and features an eye-catching copper finish. Remember to clean your wild bird feeders every two weeks with a mild soap and water solution.

Answer:
I have a plant hook that holds several feeders. Suspending it in a tree with wire was too tempting for squirrels.

Answer:
The feeder has a plastic coated cable that attaches to the base of the feeder inside the tube. The top of the feeder has a push button which allows you to slide the top up the cable to refill the tube. The top end of the cable has a loop which can be either hung from a pole or a tree. It is not squirrel proof so I would recommend the purchase of a shield if squirrels could be a problem.

Answer:
Probably not, since it appears to be steel plated with Copper. No evidence of verdigris two years after installation :-)

Answer:
It's metal, probably steel plated with copper. Not plastic. The clear cylinder IS plastic. It's held up well year round for nearly two years now. It has attracted a nice assortment of Midwest Songbirds, in fact the perching ring is especially suited to Cardinals :-)

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 58 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect feeder I originally had another feeder by the same brand, which I bought because I really liked the way it looked. Unfortunately, larger birds, like the cardinal, could not land on it because their beaks would hit the plastic container that holds the seed. I bought this feeder because it has perches that give them more room to comfortably stand on. The cardinals, and all of the other birds love it!! July 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stays cleaner than most Most bird feeders seem to get dirty and stay dirty. This one stays cleaner better than most. June 28, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by So Hoped It Would Work I bought this bird feeder for my mom after squirrels destroyed the feeder she bought. I liked the idea of Perky Pet's self-touted "Sure Lock" system that promises to keep squirrels out. Well, two weeks after I put the feeder up, the squirrels found a way to get the bird seed and almost destroyed this feeder. I'm done wasting my money on bird feeders. June 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lots of birds Got this one day ago and already having lots of success. Have seen cardinals, finches, sparrows. They love this feeder. It looks nice too. June 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice bird feeder, built to last Purchased this bird feeder to fill with black sunflower seeds to attract different types of birds other then common sparrows. A lot of birds like the ring that goes around the bottom of the feeder and how the seed is displaced from the feeder to a round trough on the bottom of the feeder to allow access from all directions and to allow more birds to feed at a time. The birds also like the ring on the bottom of the feeder because it is more comfortable for them to rest on while feeding. Installed this bird feeder under an overhang to keep the bird seed from getting wet and to allow the birds to feed regardless of the weather. This birdfeeder is made of metal with a copper color finish. The clear center of the birdfeeder is plastic. This birdfeeder is very easy to fill because the top slides up and down along a small plastic coated steel wire through pressing a button on the top of the feeder to release the grip on the wire. The wire has a loop permanently formed on the end to suspend the feeder from a hook. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Birds Love It! Great purchase. Easy to fill. I love it and so do the birds! June 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Birdfeeders/squirrel feeder too! Pretty to look at, easy to fill, but squirrels have easy access and drive away the birds! May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great and the birds love it! I had a bird feeder hanging in our yard for months, and the birds just didn't seem to use it. It looked real pretty, but I guess it wasn't very functional. I bought the Perky-Pet Copper feeder, filled it up, and the birds came right away! I love it, and so do they! April 16, 2016
