Well made product with life of the roof guarantee. Super easy, installs in under 2 minutes: 1. Check that vent extends 9" - 13" above the roof. 2. Cut or extend if needed. Most won't need this. 3. Slide boot down over the vent pipe. 4. Put a bead of silicone adhesive around the top if in high wind areas. 5. Snap the top collar onto the vent pipe, locking the assembly in place. Comes in colors to match the roof. Perfect for new installation or boot repair. Looks great, NO MORE LEAKS.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by thedog The very best alternative to repairing a leaking roof pipe vent!
The perma-boot repair kit is absolutely the best alternative for a permanent fix for a leaking roof vent.
It was an easy install (5 mins). It took longer to get on and off the roof than it did to install the kit. The
bottom slips over the pipe vent and boot and fits snug. It is adjustable to fit your roof pitch. I used a non-silicone adhesive sealer and simply followed the simple instructions. A much better alternative than removing roof shingles and installing a new boot. The Perma-boot is guaranteed for the life of the roof. The original boot only last 12 years. To "boot" it looks much better on the roof than the original boot. No white pipes showing now.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by FRED TOO TALL for my VENT PIPE but makes a good Halloween Hat.
I had squirrels eating my led pipe covers. I thought this would be perfect solution. But my pipes were too short to even touch the top cover of this product as assembled in picture. Since the price of this product was about the same new led covers which the squirrels would just eat again. I decided to repair lower exposed part of led cover and pipe with roof tar caulk and then use only the top portion of this product as a cap stuck on with the tar caulk. Looks bad but it worked and the Squirrels aren't bothering it. I saved 2 of the 7 I bought lower 2 parts of product and stuck flowers in top and made a funny kid hat / helmets. I threw the 5 remaining bottom 2 parts in the recycle bin. I would have liked to only buy the top portion of this product. The 2 lower sections were useless to me.

4 of 5 roof boots have deteriorated. This was a quick fix. Just note that water will still flow under the boot. Make sure that your flashing is raised so that the water flows around the opening. I spent a little longer on the roof and used some all weather tape to re-seal the rubber area before applying the roof boots. Just a little extra insurance.
