Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I installed these on the same house roof, about four feet apart on two 4" PVC vents. Since the existing flex-flashes (12 years old) were really cracked on the upslope side of the vent I also replaced both of them with Oatey 14041 Flex-Flash roof flashings. I don't think that this product alone would have fixed my leak problem unless perhaps the upslope side was caulked at its base, which may not have lasted very long due to temperature changes. I had to cut a few inches off both PVC pipes to get the right fit for the collar on the base. I have to say that when viewed from the ground on this two story home the Perma Boots look really nice and give a finished look, especially on a brown roof. My repair may be over-kill but it looks great and should last a long time. October 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great option for non-conventional roof vents Owning an older home with odd/non-conventional roof vents, I was very pleased to find this product. The original roof vent material was serviceable, but beginning to degrade. This product allowed me to continue the use of the original vents without tearing into the roof to replace the original vent pipe, postponing the replacement until the roof requires replacement. It installed easily and quickly, as advertised. My only concern is how it will stand up to the sun's UV exposure. Time will tell. For now, I do recommend it, if you have such a need. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perma-Boot Easy to install. Recommended to neighbors that they also install a Perma-Boot. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great time saver! After a hail storm hit our area this summer, the roof vent boot was damaged. I saw the ad on the TV and thought I would try this product. The boot is an easy installation - just make sure your existing vent is not too long or too short as the cap must go over the boot to complete the assembly. This is my second one. I also bought a 3 inch one as well. September 20, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product Simple installation took 5 minutes. Looks great and most of all it does the job. Worth every penny. June 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good but not perfect My house is old, and my 4" vent stack had holes forming in the rubber around the base. Enter this cover. The base is not large enough to cover the whole rubber section on the base of my pipe. It was too short to fit on my pipe properly and my roof was too flat for the base to fit best. I took my Dremel and cut out a section of the base that swivels, under the top pipe part, so it would lay more flat, and cover more rubber on the roof. I like the idea of this device, I just wish that it was slightly larger on the base and that I was able to swivel the bottom even more without having to cut it myself. If you have a more peaked roof, and you're sure this will cover what it needs to cover, this should work perfect out of the box. December 29, 2015
