Answer:
No... that is one of the main reasons I purchased this one. I used clear silicone where the bar attaches to the wall

Answer:
There is a suction cup with a bolt that threads into the bottom holder. There's also a foam taped plastic piece with a bolt. If you're comfortable with the holding power of the suction cup (or you can use silicone for extra hold) then you can use it. I used the foam taped piece and it holds very well.

Answer:
Pfister model # 016-HH2C includes a suctioned holder for the slider bar. It is not recommended to modify the unit, as this may void the warranty and cause situations with the unit to occur in the future.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 49 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent !!! Exactly what we were looking for and exceeded our expectations !! April 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent! This is the third Pfister® fixture in the last year that I've installed, and just like the other two, it's top quality, excellent finish, and was easy to install. Start to finish for this was ten minutes. I kid you not. No leaks, no squeaks, no drips. April 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quite nice handshower/showerhead. This is a very nice hand shower/showerhead. It looks like a very expensive fixture but was actually quite reasonable compared to many others we found. February 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for disabled person My father in-law broke his knee and has to shower in a chair. This product was easy to install and made it much more confident for him. Lived up to expectations. October 13, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product PricePfister got a little cheap with their washers. Paper thin and water was dripping even with teflon tape so I had to purchase washers. September 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Construction Mostly made of plastic and was of flimsy construction. September 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product I was expecting a pretty weak flow of water with all of the new restrictions we have these days. But with the two shower heads on at the same time the shower experience is a really good one. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was that the fitting at the top of the shower head leaks a bit when you change the position of the shower head. But all in all, a really nice shower. I don't know if it is easy to install because we had it installed by the contractor when he installed a new shower enclosure. May 5, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Performs as expected. Installation was very easy. Good value for the money. I ordered one kit, and installed it upon delivery. After testing it for several showers, which I thought was a reasonable period, I decided to order a second kit for a second bath, while the product was still on sale. I am satisfied with the product thus far. My review comment regarding low water pressure is somewhat understandable, since two heads will divert the water flow (volume). In addition, I should mention; I have a water well and intentionally maintain a lower house pressure to reduce demand and wear on the well pump. Even in consideration of my water system, I believe the products perform satisfactorily, and as anticipated. January 28, 2014
