Answer:
It comes with a chrome plate. There is a escutcheon ( like a finish washer) and a different nut to hold just the faucet if one only has one hold instead of three.

Answer:
The deckplate is the little oblong piece that you can use to cover up the holes if you have more than 1 hole in your sink. "Optional non-deckplate" means that you don't need the deckplate, which makes it prettier.

This can be used as a 1 or 3 hole installation. The other holes are covered by the chrome plate. Non deck plate means that it the faucet installs directly onto the sink.

If you use the oblong deckplate as a 'base' for the faucet, it covers the hot and cold holes that would connect to the incoming water lines on a traditional-style faucet. If you use the oblong deckplate as a 'base' for the faucet, it covers the hot and cold holes that would connect to the incoming water lines on a traditional-style faucet. This style connects below the sink to narrow copper tubes that extend up through to the center. 'Non-deckplate' refers to an installation with a single opening only and you would not need the oblong mount to cover 'extra holes'. For example, if you were installing a new counter top and wanted to have a sleeker look, you would need only 1 hole slightly smaller than the faucet stem that would sit over the hole. Since one handle controls hot and cold, you would not need other openings and the stem would appear to be built-in to the counter top.
Hope the explanation helps.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 154 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect price for perfect kitchen faucet We needed a replacement faucet for the kitchen sink, and it needed to be inexpensive but good fit and function. Online, I looked at some other much more expensive ($300+) models from the same manufacturer and was somewhat resolved to spend that much. We went to Home Depot and found this faucet by the same manufacturer and the same color but for only $140 !!! Bought it for the "one hole" application. Fit great, looks great, I did need to plumb it with separate plumbing connections, about $20 more, which is the only reason I gave this 4 stars. (Presumably, the more expensive models include the plumbing). Nevertheless, I saved nearly $200 and got a great faucet! The spray function has lots of power for cleaning. Great faucet! July 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Purchase! I read all the reviews on this faucet, and some of them mentioned that it had low water pressure/flow. After I installed the faucet, I tried it out and it worked great! I havehad no problems with the water flow. Water pressure is great. love the look of the faucet and the function. It was easy to install, and it looks like it will last. I've been using it just under a week now and I'm happy with my purchase so far. January 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good looking faucet for the money Faucet is attractive and compact. Fits my new kitchen well. Only been using it for a few days and all seems good. Many other faucets in this style and finish were at least $50 more. October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent construction, a good set of intallation instructions We wanted the antique bronze look in our kitchen, and for both price and looks this one fit the bill. The installation was fairly easy, as usual it was getting the old one out that was the hard part!LOL All the pieces fit together well, some plastic involved (including the sprayer itself) but overall it seems to be sturdy. The action on the mixing valve is very smooth and fluid. Also there is some good added info on the Pfister website for people like myself who have not installed a faucet before. November 19, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average Faucet We're not sure if we love this or not, and may send it back. For the price, it is decent enough. However, the water pressure is weak, as most faucets probably are. It doesn't splash as much as the Moen we returned, but we still aren't in love with this one. The faucet itself, the sprayer part, is actually plastic. It pulls out okay, but is noisy. Since it's a pull-out and not a pull-down, it is awkward to use the sprayer, and the button to turn on the sprayer is right where my finger keeps turning it off as I'm trying to contort it to spray the sides of the sink. It required different hoses to install which we had to buy separately. Compared to the Moen, it was much trickier to install. The picture attached was taken in bright light so it is showing as purple, but it is a very nice dark bronze color. December 27, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love it I've had this kitchen faucet for 5 years, so we bought an identical one for my daughter's kitchen. The pull out feature is very handy and the fact that it pulls UP instead of DOWN means that it never "dangles" over the sink. December 15, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap, leaky, easily smudged. BAD product. Wish I would have kept the box and receipt for this travesty of a faucet. We got the chrome. It feels plastic and cheap. I have to polish it every day or it looks like junk and it hasn't been washed in a century. And to boot, we have to re tighten all of the fittings every few weeks because it leaks. And since it leaks down into the hub, if you don't have the sprayer pulled out then the water drains under your sink. We will have to replace the wood under our sink now. Yes it's cute, but it is not cheap enough to warrant it being a non-quality product. Save yourself the headache and pony up for something with better reviews. January 25, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Good But.... I bought this product a few months back because of it's looks. However, pulling the sprayer out to rinse the sink is extremely hard! Also, the soap dispenser that comes with the set is a joke. Never worked right. July 11, 2015
