Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Raye I love the modern look of this fixture.
I installed this shower trim kit in my basement bathroom in Aug. 2012. In order to meet county code, I had to purchase a fixture with a single hot/cold handle. I hadn't known this so I am glad my Home Depot store had signs up informing the customers. I love the brushed nickel finish and the modern look. The shower head has a lever that allows you to vary the type of water flow--from a rainfall effect to a pulsating one. Cleaning is super easy- a damp soft cloth with no detergents. I would definitely purchase this fixture again (NOTE: I also had to purchase the Pfister JX8 single control, pressure balancing valve body because the old valve was in poor shape).

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer Returned per plumber's recommendation
I never installed the product but I'm giving it an average rating. I think this is fair as I don't want to downgrade it but I wanted to reflect that we returned it per our plumber's recommendation who was doing a bathroom remodel. He said that the Pfister brand was not as reliable as others and that we would be much better off with Moen. So we switched. I never took it out of the box and went with his feedback.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AlisoninTX Needed Professional Help to Install, but The Update is Well Worth It
Because installing this set in my guest bathroom meant replacing the valve inside the wall of my tub/shower, I called in a professional plumber to help me install it. The money spent was well worth it to make the update to my old, outdated tub and shower hardware - the slate finish is stunning and it looks great. A few potential negatives to consider though: the new shower head conserves water considerably. That's great in a state like Texas where we are in a drought - but it means the water flow coming through the shower head is noticeably lower than through old school shower heads. Also - the set doesn't come with a drain/clean out cap combination, and I haven't found one available in slate - so those pieces won't match exactly. Regardless, installing this set has made a huge difference in updating my guest bathroom and I like it a lot.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Draven Very nice looking and functions.
Looks and operates fantastic. Ring retaining the handle popped off, and was very difficult to put back together. The design could be a little better than a small snap ring to hold it in place.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MegP Functional & Classy
I love the slate finish on this faucet! I've always used stainless or brushed stainless finishes, but was looking for something a little different. This fit the bill nicely. The design is classic, and it functions well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RLO1951 Very nice and and great looking, pleasure to use it.
It has a high efficiency shower head and 1 handle is very convenient to operate. Since I am not very good with installing things, our plumber did it in no time at all. Slate is an amazing finish, very modern and sophisticated. My wife likes it being spotless, which is a great feature.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pmikejunot Good pfinish, good pfrice, good pfaucet.
The finish of this Price Pfister faucet falls somewhere between brushed nickle and venetian bronze. You can find matching lavatory faucets, towel bars, ect. on HomeDepot.com. I'm not sure if the store stocks these fixtures.
The control valve is pretty standard, having 1/2" NPT male nipples for hot, cold, shower, and tub. Surprisingly, at this price, this faucet is all metal. No metal clad plastic escutcheon plate nor handle here. Solid metal is under the slate finish. The metal is a moderate weight having a little heft, but certainly not as thick as faucets costing four times this price.
The maximum hot temperature comes factory set to prevent the stem from reaching the full hot position when rotated. If you keep your HWH at a lower setting, you might want to adjust this. The "max hot" temperature "governor" is the easiest I have ever had to adjust. Just use your fingernail to pry out a geared disk surrounding the stem and rotate it to the position you require. The valve installation is pretty standard with most manufactures' shower/tub valves, involving specific set-backs from the finished wall. This one is no exception, requiring adequate mounting to secure it behind the finished wall. This is most commonly accomplished with the installation of blocking behind the faucet. Once the valve is mounted, connected, and flushed, you're ready for installation of your finished walls. One note of caution: be sure you remove the cartridge assembly before doing any soldering on fittings connected to the faucet body. If you don't, you'll melt (or at least deform) the plastic cartridge, ruining it. Installing the faucet trim only takes a few minutes, very simple indeed.
in summary, this is a really nice quality faucet for the price! Very affordable, indeed!
