Questions & Answers

top fill soap dispenser? how does it fill?

Asked by: m428
It is an annoying bottle you have to fill and screw into the dispenser underneath the counter. So if you mind having to reach and go into your cabinet under your sink I would not recommend using it. If you do not mind then it will work great for you.

Her old (18+ yrs) faucet had no pressure and was not very tall. The sprayer was next to useless as well. This was so very easy to install and the soap dispenser helped to free up her limited counter space. She fell in love with it immediately. The 4 star rating is only because the sprayer does not always fully retract, say one out of every six or seven uses. Be sure to look at the water supply shut off valves closely. I had to make a return trip for two SharkBite valves because the hot water started leaking right after turning the water back on and since I was already under there I just changed both.

I previously purchased a Glacier Bay brand pull-down faucet, and it wasn't even a year before the handle broke and the sprayer head became faulty (sorry, Home Depot, but make a better product). I searched for months for a new faucet, and this one was on display. It's even more beautiful in my kitchen. It was easy to install, and so far I am pleased. There's a lifetime warranty attached to this faucet as well...

The most common leak problem is on the top part where the hose and pull handle join. If you have this problem it is an easy fix. Remove the handle from the hose. Look inside the hose there should be a plastic 10mm allen bolt. Use a 10mm allen to tighten a little and that should fix your leak. Well at least it did for me. Hope this helped.

The faucet has a very strong flow rate; there was always a bit of splatter whether using the stream or wider spray pattern. It was easy to over extend the faucet when removed from the cradle which then drastically reduced the water flow. The head failed after only about 6 months of use with water leaking heavily from the button that selects the spray pattern. I understand that this product was on the cheaper side for this type of faucet; however, there are just too many drawbacks to consider this in your kitchen.

Love the wide, thick handle -- it is very easy to reach and use. Water flow is smooth. The faucet body has good height and heft. The price was a lot less that other brands for a similar look. This had to be our easiest faucet swap-out ever. We did not use the base plate since it went into a new one-hole sink. The connecting hardware and fittings all worked well. No leaks. It looks great on the black Neoroc sink.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Docking does not work Every other docking, pull-down sprayer I have ever used has automatically retracted (docked) back to its original position. With this faucet, you have to turn the sprayer around until the projection on its side is correctly aligned and then force it back up to the retracted position. Major design flaw that is a constant annoyance! Save yourself irritation and choose a different faucet.

I had to mount it on an angle to get the hot water to fully turn on. I had a single-hole mounting so that was possible, but if I had to do it over again I think I would look for a different model. It was installed in a rental unit so I didn't want to reschedule the repair.

Very high end looking faucet. Water flow is very fast. Pull down nozzle works perfectly. Added feature was the soap dispenser so you don't have to have extra clutter on your counter tops. Nice handle to grip making this a very good selection.
