Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful faucet, but CHECK BACK CLEARANCE first! I bought this pull down faucet and the matching bar faucet to update my main kitchen sink and island prep sink. I love how they look! But here is a BIG CAUTION on this faucet: the specification sheet (available on product page) indicates that there is 3 3/8" distance from center of faucet to back of handle when set in its furthermost back position (hot water setting). I double-checked this before installation based on another review. In fact, that distance is actually 4 1/4". Big difference. This left me with - no kidding - a 1/16" clearance from the granite shelf of the window above the sink (see photo). And my sink cabinet is pulled 3" out from rest of cabinet run. Works just fine, but barely! May 31, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Disappointed Product began leaking out of "head" toggle switch three months after purchase. Contacted Pfister because faucet has "lifetime warranty". Promised new part would arrive within three days... Three weeks later nothing. Called again, just like before promised three days... two weeks later nothing. Customer service reps are very difficult to understand (speaking broken English) and I had to call multiple times to get someone I could understand. I will just return this product to the store as support from the manufacturer is non-existent. This has been a tremendous disappointment. I need my kitchen back! January 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great faucet This is a wonderful faucet. The water pressure is much higher than it was on my last pull-out faucet. It looks great, and works very well; the pull down sprayer sits firmly in place until released, and the height makes it very easy to get large pots and pans into the sink. The only negative would be the soap dispenser. While it looks good, the flow of soap is very low; it takes three or four presses to get enough soap out for cleaning; nothing major, it's just a minor annoyance. The brushed stainless steel finish is beautiful, and it looks great in my kitchen. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. June 28, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty but, functional disappointments I recently downsized from a large old house to a cozy apartment over my business. With limited budget, I did a modest kitchen layout in the new place and was excited to splurge a bit on a pull-down faucet and soap dispenser in the 4th sink hole. I LOVE the look of this faucet! Unfortunately, I've discovered 3 things that are disappointing about it, with regard to function: 1. back clearance - I cannot get full use of the hot water* because the handle hits the wall behind the sink. as a *get-around to this, my installer swapped the hot and cold supply connections so now, the hot is by pulling forward and the cold pushed back. I told the Home Depot designer about this (not remembering which exact model I had purchased) and he suggested I have the faucet rotated 90° so the handle would be at front and could rotate side-to-side. When I got home, I realized that wasn't an option because of the D-shape base. fail #1 2. small leak? - I also started to notice a small puddle on the deck under the handle. Was my months-old faucet handle leaking already??? fail #2 3. horrid water flow - I suppose I could overlook the other 2 issues, but this one is hugely disappointing. It takes FOREVER to fill a pot. Before the riser-replacement, I chalked that up to old corroded pipes but, with all-new risers, the flow is still awful. I thought that maybe there was sediment in the strainer so, I took that out, rinsed and re-installed it (no improvement). Next, I took off the head of the sprayer to have a look at the hose and see if something was clogging that. This is where I think the problem rests. The diameter of the hose is very small. I suspect it is why I can't get the volume of water one would expect for kitchen-sink applications. FAIL #3 My budget does not allow me to just go out and buy a replacement faucet and pay to have it re-installed. I will, however, take a closer look at the hoses in other pull-down kitchen faucets, next time I'm at Home Depot. I hope that someone from Pfister will reply with a possible fix for this problem. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 3rd replacement - worthless quality I bought one of these and had to replace because a plastic piece was missing and another broken, then the 2nd was dented, finally the third looked great and after setting it up things were looking good. All of a sudden the spray head shoots water in all different directions. The plastic around the spray head is cheap and doesn't hold it directional location very long at all! Very disappointed in Pfister. I called there customer service and the guy told me to return it to HD a third time. I'm returning it and getting another brand. HD is 45 min each way from my house. Frustrated and will never buy Pfister again. Save your money in the long run and by long run I mean anything over a week and buy a reliable brand even if it means spending 20-50 more. May 15, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Update to 1-16-15 review I just wanted to follow through with some developments since I wrote a review on this product on January 16th of 2015. A representative from Pfister contacted me about the poor customer service and defective product complaint I posted on the Home Depot website. They apologized for the poor transaction and offered to "make it good". I explained that I had already returned the Pfister Pasadena to Home Depot for a refund. As a measure of goodwill they offered a free item out of their catalog, which I did accept. I think a lot of a company that tries to make good on a bad situation. I feel they did not have to do this and am thankful they reached out to me. Although I cannot recommend this faucet, I have had many other Pfister faucets that have lasted twenty plus years. I won't hesitiate to consider them in the future. March 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic! I have wanted this for so long. And saved to get it! Functional and beautiful. Love it! Cleans so easy and maintains the finish beautifully. March 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT UPGRADE TO A GREAT PRODUCT We had an older Pfister pull out which was good, but the new Pasadena is fantastic: Taller arch, easier connections, great concentrated spray which helps clean crusty pans and is stunning to look at. Single Handle for Hot/Cold and pressure makes one-hand control a breeze. It even came with an accessory soap dispenser. February 26, 2013
