Answer:
Not sure how to install without it - a cap for the 4th hole was not included in the box (however our product must have been a return as it had an instruction guide for a light fixture in it so clearly Home Depot doesn't check their returns). With that being said - we installed the soap dispenser and I am happy with it.

Answer:
Yes, the soap dispenser is separate ... it requires a hole specifically for the soap dispenser so you can choose to not install it. Faucet can be installed in one hole or can cover three holes.

Answer:
Yes, the soap dispenser is totally separate and optional. Funny thing you asked this, I thought about not installing it, but it added to the overall appearance and complimented the faucet greatly.
If you have the hole needed to install the dispenser and don't already have one in-place, I would install it. Super easy to do and fill once installed.

yes, it twists from stream to spray from end of faucet, and top portion of faucet swivels from side to side. Does a good job of covering a prep sink.

Answer:
No the faucet head does not swivel ... it is attached to a hose and if you attempt to twist the head it will likely have the effect of unscrewing the faucet head.

It requires one hole for the faucet but the base can cover three holes (my old faucet was three and they are covered fine.). The soap dispensor needs a hole by itself.
In total, only two holes required.

Good morning Charlie. This faucet requires one hole for the faucet and one hole for the soap dispenser if you choose to use it. It is designed to have each hole separate. We have Corian(r) counters and when they were installed we only had them put in one hole since we didn't want a soap dispenser. The faucet comes with the supply lines already installed. They are slightly longer than I would have wanted but can be looped. You may want to measure the distance from the faucet to the wall behind the sink if the sink is not on an island. When I installed this faucet I found that the handle that will not go all the way back due to the short distance between the faucet and the wall. This is not a problem for us since it goes far enough to give us hot water hot enough for all of our needs. I hope this helps. Greg Read Less

This Model # F-529-7PDS comes with an optional deck plate 10” in length from end to end and 8” centers for a 3 hole installation. It may also be installed as a two hole installation without the base plate and soap dispenser. The soap dispenser is also optional making this faucet a one hole install as well.

The Pfister model # F529-7PDS can be physically installed with the handle to the left hand side. However, neither the spout body nor the single base ring or 3-hole deck plate have a symmetrical design with respect to the mounting hole. If the handle is placed on the side opposite to where it is shown on the installation manual (on the right when faced by the user), some aspects of the design on the spout, base ring, and/or deck plate will no longer be visible. The installer just needs to be sure the inlet lines are reversed if it is to be placed on the left hand side. For proper function, when the handle is turned toward the user, cold water comes out and when the handle is turned away from the user, hot water comes out. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Money Wasted!!! Purchased this faucet in May of 2015. This week it started gushing water from the faucet itself (where the sprayer is connected) and the toggle switch.. I'm getting two streams of water. I am at this moment waiting for a plumber to bring us another faucet for him to install! September 1, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smooth Transaction and Great Product! Easy to install and love how it works. one faucet and push a button and it becomes a sprayer. Would recommend to anyone. September 6, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Pull Down leaks Functionally this is a great faucet. After a year of use mine now leaks excessively at the faucet head and the spray button. August 20, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Use to work great I bought this faucet in April of 2014. It worked great, loved it, but about 6 months ago it started to leak where the button is for changing the stream to a spray. I lived with, after noticing a leak under the sink we found that little annoyance was a damaging leak caused by the spray backing up and going back down the faucet sprayer tube and coming out in torrents under the sink. For a quality company this faucet did not last long. It appears the hose for the sprayer needs replacing. I am having trouble locating information for parts for this faucet. I may have to just replace the whole thing. July 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Like it! I like this product and it does what it suppose to do. July 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 2 yrs old and leaks but I was able to screw the head back on I had previously written that this faucet is two years old now and leaks, head fell off. Well, I figured out how to screw the head back on. Wow, I feel dumb, but it's a learning curve. I attached a picture of the calcium deposits I have gotten from the leak. I will replace the stem and keep the faucet. I love the look! February 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DO NOT BUY This faucet looks great but the handle hits the wall. And, we had it for a year and a half and it was leaking from the handle and nozzle. It has been leaking so badly our quartz countertops and under the sink have water damage. Our plumber couldn't fix it because they don't stock the cartridge for Pfister that needed to be replaced. I called Pfister and they sent out the new cartridge but we couldn't get the old cartridge out. We broke the stainless steel of the product by trying to get the cartridge out with with our handy man and I wasn't paying the plumber to come again. So, we removed it from our kitchen and purchased a Moen kitchen faucet. Please beware and purchase a different brand. June 25, 2016
