Customer Questions & Answers

top fill soap dispenser? how does it fill?

Asked by: m428
It is an annoying bottle you have to fill and screw into the dispenser underneath the counter. So if you mind having to reach and go into your cabinet under your sink I would not recommend using it. If you do not mind then it will work great for you.

The most common leak problem is on the top part where the hose and pull handle join. If you have this problem it is an easy fix. Remove the handle from the hose. Look inside the hose there should be a plastic 10mm allen bolt. Use a 10mm allen to tighten a little and that should fix your leak. Well at least it did for me. Hope this helped.

Her old (18+ yrs) faucet had no pressure and was not very tall. The sprayer was next to useless as well. This was so very easy to install and the soap dispenser helped to free up her limited counter space. She fell in love with it immediately. The 4 star rating is only because the sprayer does not always fully retract, say one out of every six or seven uses. Be sure to look at the water supply shut off valves closely. I had to make a return trip for two SharkBite valves because the hot water started leaking right after turning the water back on and since I was already under there I just changed both.

Do recommend considering placement as we had quartz countertops installed at same time and water does hit back of sink. However in less than a year, the sprayer button suddenly started leaking and water pours out of the button versus spout. Very concerning for a house of 2 that doesn't utilize the sink that often.

As one would expect: unique design (rectangular base and elegant lines), and quality of materials and craftsmanship are top shelf. The single lever is buttery smooth, and the pull-down sprayer's retraction system is effective and works every time. I've used this faucet for only a couple short weeks, but so far, so good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good faucet. We got this faucet back in October 2016 when we moved in to our new house. The hose on it is really long so the counter weight gets stuck sometimes on other hoses under the sink. Recently we also discovered that where the hose attaches to the sprayer the black plastic part is broken so water sprays out of there when we try to extend the hose. I called Pfister and their customer service is great. They are sending us a new hose and sprayer for free. The person on the phone was helpful, so that made it a lot less of a headache. I just think it's silly the faucet is less than 4 months old and it's already leaking water everywhere so we can't even extend the hose out. I personally don't think that spending this much money is worth it for a faucet, but the customer service at Pfister is excellent. The faucet isn't bad looking either, but aside from how it looks, it's not that great.

The retractable spray arm does not pull out and retract easily. The base is oval and does not fit in the rectangular area on the sink, leaving a gap in the front and back that had to be addressed.

So far, the design is elegent and simple for an amazing price. I appreciate the ease of the spray to stream button at the back. The front to back hot/cold is a little adjustment to my old system (I keep grabbing the soap dispenser!). The only issue I have is not with the actual faucet but the soap dispenser that spins around easily when I try to pump soap. After four days of this I decided I needed to "MacGyver" the bugger with a rubber band/washer to create some friction so the darn thing wouldn't spin wildly when I pumped it. This has worked amazingly well and I am very happy with my new faucet!

Immediately after installing the unit the hot water side of the faucet produces only a trickle of water. After calling Pfister they said "not to worry" they would send out a new cartridge and a new atomizer. And maybe I would get the parts in 7 working days. Why should I pay almost $160.00 for a faucet and have to immediately start changing parts. I am disgusted with the whole deal. I may decide to remove this faucet and replace it with some other unit. It's a lot of work to install and uninstall the darn thing. But, maybe it's the best thing for me to do. What a lousy deal it seems that Pfister really got me this time.
