Answer:
Yes you can use it on any gauge SS sink. However, if the gauge is very thin, it would have the tendency of being wobbly and you should use a double short faucet instead.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Where has this faucet been all my life!! This pull down faucet is the best faucet that we have ever purchased! I had company over last weekend, and my sisters kept playing with the faucet, threatening to take it home with them LOL. I highly recommended them to go to Home Depot for the purchase. Before the party was over, they were online, ordering the same faucet, what a bunch of copycats!! Its all good, at least they will be a bunch of happy copycats and new customers to Home Depot!! Thanks, I am a true Home Depot girl all the way and will continue to recommend your business! July 1, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worked great for almost 2 years... We bought this faucet almost 2 years ago when we bought our house. It is beautiful and has worked great up until a few weeks ago. The handle is now leaking after every use. We have had to shut our water off when not using the sink to avoid a flood on our counters. We have tried to call customer service a few times and have been on hold over 10 minutes without talking to anyone. Hoping we can get this resolved as this was one of our larger purchases! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product The faucet was easy to install and added a new modern look to our new kitchen June 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful and Functional I am very happy with the look and function of the faucet. I work in a commercial kitchen and prefer using a sprayer to rinse my dishes. The pull down sprayer style makes it convenient to use. No more fighting to get the sprayer hose out and back in. If you plan to store a bunch of stuff under your sink keep in mind the hoses hang almost to the floor of the cabinet. Keep the hoses clear for best results. The installation went very well. We did have to widen the opening in our stainless steel sink just a bit with a file in order to not chew the hoses up during installation, but this is a sink issue not a faucet issue. The kit comes with a ring for installation of the sink surface or a plate to cover a 3 whole sink. Don't make the mistake of getting the ring on over the plate. Oops, or you'll end up taking it apart to get it off before you can tighten it up. Ask me why I know... I ended up just cutting the extra ring with a pair of cutters when I discovered my mistake. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Need help, handle leaks! Overall has been a great Hi there, we have a f5297pds faucet at our cottage and we opened it up this week the faucet started leaking right at the handle. My husband has taken it apart and we cannot figure out where the leaking is coming from. Can you help? May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Working Great Installed this faucet over Christmas 2013, aside from needing to replace the shut off valves, it was a simple process. The faucet is holding up great to daily use, the retractable head makes it easy to fill and clean deep pans. It's really a design that I like, and works flawlessly. Had an issue where the soap dispenser bottle broke, and Pfister sent a replacement quickly. Excellent customer service! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] March 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice Product I bought this item about a year ago and very happy I did. I wonder why I waited so long since it is a lot easy to wash large pots and pans. I don't have to bend down to wash the dishes. My sister bought one when she saw mine. The rim of the soap container was bent therefore unable to attach to the sprayer. I contacted the company and they sent another one right away. I am very pleased with the service and packaging was great. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] March 1, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Leaking Again! Once more replacing cartridge due to leak at handle. Already had to replace the pull out hose/sprayer right after purchasing. March 20, 2016
